SF, R2 applicant here. Turned in my app on 2/7.
- EA Score 160 (IR -13, VR - 15, QR - 12)
- 16 years experience, Entertainment Industry - 12 in a management capacity
- Fortune 100 top 10 company
- Undergraduate GPA - 3.06, Cinematic Arts
- USA origin, LGBTQIA+

My low GPA has me buggin' to be honest. The rest feels pretty good!
Hi I think you have a great EA score, I believe the undergraduate GPA will matter less in your case! From what I have learned about EMBA applications for Wharton, they like a score of 160+. All the best!
where did you hear about they preferring a score of 160+? Is this from wharton adcom?
Yes, essentially getting scores higher than 160 is pretty exceptional since it is already in the 90th percentile. They hold the quant score the most important metric. They weigh it relative to your college classes that were quantitative to arrive to a conclusion on your ability to handle the curriculum.
Last year’s median score was 157. So essentially if you can exceed the median score, you are in the upper echelon.
Finally it comes down to your overall application.
