I had my interview on Oct 1. The interview was very conversational and mostly went over my resume. My interviewer did encourage me to take the EA again to get a stronger quant score. I scored a 152 (10 in quant) but know I can do better so I plan to retake. My interviewer also offered a free refresher math course.

I used the generic gmac study material the first time. This go round I’m using empowerEA and definitely think I am going to score better on the retake.

during my interview I think my interviewer didn’t mostly went over my resume. as she had my resume, I followed the suggestions online that make the self-intro briefly and don’t re-read the resume. so I mainly induced my current position and responsibilities. she asked no further question about that. then she asked why Mba why Wharton and time balance etc.

MimiDC, Did they happen to mention what the IR threshold needs to be? I know for Quant, they say to aim for 12-13.

The engagement on this thread seems really low considering we aren't that far from the R1 deadline. Is this normal? Or do you guys think this is indicative of the number of applications this year?

Nikhil bb Would love your expert opinion

I have my interview scheduled in two weeks. I am targeting R1 for Philly campus. I wrote the EA about 9 months ago and got the below scores. I was told to apply with both scores.

EA1 -> 154 (IR-10, Verbal-10, Quant-14)
EA2 -> 157 (IR-14, Verbal-11, Quant-12)

Any tips for the interview?

Based on the below class profile, EA should be at least 151 to have any shot. And from what I have been hearing/reading, at least 12 in Quant and at least 10 in each of IR and verbal.

There was nothing unexpected asked during the interview and my interviewer was really good at making me feel comfortable during our chat. Just make sure you’ve nailed down what you’d like to achieve with your MBA. She also asked about my support system both in my personal and professional life.
