Wharton EMBA ( Philly/ SF) 2022 intake- class of 2024

Nopes. I emailed the adcoms last week, but they no one replied back

Not hopeful anymore. Search whartonbound in LinkedIn and you will see tons of people posting acceptance in last 2-3 days.

i have heard some folks have started receiving updates - acceptance or denial. However i haven't received anything yet. Wondering what is the criteria for those updates? Are they simply doing it in turns or they just decided to update a few and keep the rest hanging on forever..

Can confirm that I got a waitlist letter earlier today. Anybody else have any luck in R3?

Are you posting in correct thread? Wharton EMBA doesn't have R3 and all the candidates were notified of acceptance/denial/waitlist on March 23.

got my admit today. however choosing booth over wharton.

Good call! I think so too. I've heard underwhelming things from Wharton EMBA students.

yeah! booth, Haas, Stern and HEC adcoms have been the best. somehow didnt feel the same/ similar vibe with wharton. may be i am little different , so Booth!

I had a similar experience. The adcoms at Booth and Haas were beyond fantastic, while Wharton never had a F2F (zoom/in-person) interaction besides the resume review and the interview. They always recommended attending the info session which was more of a webinar without much participation from prospective students. That lack of interaction didn't let me form a bond with the admissions team and somehow I didn't catch that community vibe. Maybe I expected more, and probably that is what encouraged me to look outside of the Bay Area and I decided to go with Booth (with scholarship) without waiting for the Wharton waitlist decision.
Nonetheless, my heartiest congratulations to the admitted folks and best wishes for the amazing program(s) that you end up joining. We all shoulder the amazing responsibility to build organizations that will make the world a better place.
