EMBAADDMISSION No updates at all. I'm kinda disappointed with the lack of communication from AdCom. We know from other forums/admitted folks that classes are starting mid Aug - not telling WL folks clear Yes/no at this point is just insulting.

No news ?. Anyone has any update?

I haven't heard any movement/news yet, but I'd expect some movement this week. Unfortunately based on what Adcom has shared, we may have to wait until Aug 14th..... basically until class starts.

I’m not sure how many of us are waiting but I would have to agree with andyprezth that the lack of communication and transparency at this point is not professional....
At least they should communicate what we are waiting for ...

I was notified via email early afternoon that I would NOT be offered a seat in the class of 2022. Not going to lie, I cried. For those that haven't heard anything, perhaps it's a good thing. Best of luck to all of you! I'm sending you good vibes.

AlondraSamuels90 please don’t cry and just view it as the beginning for another challenge. I don’t know you but I’m sure you are awesome otherwise you would have not been WL. The 2021 application is open, if you know what you need to fix then just kill it.. and go for the next round but this time you have to have a back up plan, simply another school.

I'm not sure they can offer additional clarity as they are probably still waiting to see those who were accepted off the wait list earlier this month will be matriculating or not.

I don’t know how to respond to specific massages and tag the names .. sorry
xprometheusx I’m sure they provide deadlines to accept enrollment, pay tuition, etc... those deadlines would be helpful for WL candidates instead of just waiting..
I understand and I’m sure it is a very challenging time and they are doing their best but this process can be refined and improved..

I have been waiting since March. And I will jump on the opportunity if offered a spot in this year’s class. So, I am also in the same boat as you guys are.

I got an email this morning that I was not offered a seat in 2022 class. So, if you are still on waitlist, it’s a good thing at this point because there must a reason you have not been rejected so far.

"Wharton’s new dean, Erika James, is known as a crisis management expert — she even co-authored a book on the subject. But James’s handling of the biggest crisis to hit graduate business education in generations is being questioned by Wharton MBA admits and second-year MBA students who say she is at least partly to blame for poor communication and widespread misunderstanding between the administration, students, and admits." LOL
So I'm not the only one who thinks communication from Wharton AdCom has been poor at best.

I got a call this AM letting me know I was admitted in R2 off the waitlist from R1. Best of luck to everyone else today!
Would you please share any advise for wait-listed candidates. I applied for the coming session and got waitlisted R1. No clue what to do now This was my only school. Employer was going to support only this one. Thanks.

I got converted into an admit as well from R1 waitlist. Know 1 other friend. Seems like they've broken the mould this year?
