Are folks very proactive with the waitlist, and sending updates every 3-4 weeks or just waiting it out?

Has anyone heard anything yet from Wharton AdCom?

I haven't heard from the school yet. I submitted an update a couple of weeks ago and received their auto email response. Fingers crossed. All the best everyone!

I haven’t received any reply too. I expect they will get back tomorrow to the people that got admitted. As an international applicant my chances are pretty slim I think given all the new restrictions. Good luck to all! Posted from my mobile device

Can someone please confirm if Wharton’s waitlist is open or closed? The decision letter did not mention anything about not sending in updates. It would be helpful to know what is or is not off limits Posted from my mobile device

lgd5039 You'll likely get a letter with more info next week. I was waitlisted RD2 and a more detailed notification followed a few days after the decision letters came out. I don't know if 'rules' will change this time around, but I doubt it. They allow updates that add true value to your candidacy, but discourage from updates or emails that simply say how much you want to go there.

If you are on the waitlist but agreed to take Math for Business prior to potential admission, is it worth taking the course while still on the waitlist and letting the school know once you have completed?

Can you even take "Math for Business" if you are wait listed? I thought you have to put down deposit, use Wharton ID/Password to log in and take that course?
