Folks - I got an e-mail from Yale today asking why I hadn't responded to my interview invitation that they sent on 10/21. Apparently, it got sent directly to my work's spam servers, and I hadn't checked my app status since the beginning, (dumb, but I didn't want to psyche myself out by checking fanatically).
Make sure you do your due diligence, and check your spam filters!!

I think there are a lot of members who actually do not complete their profile and list the schools they are applying to/invited for interview.
Further there are some others who just browse this forum and do not post anything.
I believe that Yale has invited lot more applicants than we think looking at the stats in this thread.
Yale being such a small class provides it ample opportunity to get lot more choosier.
I have not browsed last year's thread but I just get a feeling that those who do not get invite by end of this week should direct their energies to
some other schools. A month is enough to shortlist candidates and send out invites for R1.
Maybe Yale should come up with an update on it's website about the date until they will send out the invites - similar to what Ross does.
All the best to those who got invites and those who will be applying in the next round.
As for those R1 applicants waiting for invites - may the Force be with you all!!
