As a non-native and engineering graduate I wanted to score maximum on the quant section of GMAT. In the last attempt at GMAT I scored 49 on quant and I wanted to score 51. I started my preparation with the Manhattan GMAT guides. I won’t say that these guides are not good but I was unable to improve myself further. I was not able to finish the quant section in time. To improve myself further I was in search of some resource when I stumbled upon the e-gmat in a Facebook promotion. I straight away joined their free quant webinar and found it as an eye opener. Without making any delay I enrolled in the course.
The entire quant course is divided into 5 sections: 1) Number Properties, 2) Algebra, 3) Geometry, 4) Word Problems and 5) Advance topics.
The Quant course (Verbal as well) is in the form of video lessons followed by practical quizzes. The first quiz on each section consists typically on low level questions that help you understand the basics. On the second quiz, the difficulty level of the questions increases progressively. One thing I like about it is that each question has a timer so you can see how long is taking you to solve different types of questions based on the difficulty level. The course provides step by step solutions of these practical questions as well as of the OG questions that are recommended at the end of each section. All the explanations are very clear.
The icing on the cake is scholaranium . This is the Custom test platform by e-gmat where one can select questions of different topics, different difficulty levels and adjust timings. As a result you also get detailed analysis of the timing and your performance. This detailed analysis has taken my prep further and finally I am scoring 50-51 on the gmac mock tests.
I found the course phenomenal. It is very meticulously laid down content wise and method wise. I will recommend this course to every GMAT aspirant.
Happy learning!
I took e-gmat quant live prep course to boost my GMAT Quant. I was very impressed with the in-depth analysis and strategic method of teaching. I would recommend it to students who are looking to gain a stronger understanding of quant topics. My weak areas were Algebraic Translations, Geometry, Probability and Combinatorics, Weighted Averages and Number Properties. I spent some time reviewing concepts and then did timed practice using OG and GMAT Club. e-gmat played a major role in inculcating more confidence in my quant abilities going into the GMAT. I did not have much time but if you have 2+ months, this course is ideal to brush up rusty concepts. It is definitely worth the buy. Good luck!
I couldn't thank enough for the amazing support egmat has provided me since the time I enrolled in for their course.
I am a non-native speaker. Although I was confident about Quants part of GMAT, I was sure I won't get a good GMAT score unless my Verbal score is above 35. Each time I took a mock, my verbal scores were around 20 initially. Anyway, I decided to give my first GMAT and scored a mere 640, with Q(49), V(27).
After a month I resumed my preparation but again I had no clear plan or strategy. Honestly, that is the worst mistake anyone can commit while taking GMAT. I took GMAT twice and scored just a 650 this time with Q(49), V(29).
That is when I realized there is something seriously wrong in the way I analyze questions. I also realized the importance of a strategy to improve time management for each section. This time I did my research on the internet and finally enrolled for egmat. Although I knew about egmat before from a friend of mine and had actually used my friend's account to get some basics of topics, I never really went with their study plan that time. This time I did stick with the strategy and study plan that egmat provided. Needless to say, my Verbal score was improving. More importantly the way I analyze questions changed.
If I could improve my score and get a 700+, I strongly believe anyone could get a good score, provided you work persistently and you have a good source like egmat. Egmat really was supportive when it comes to clearing my queries too.
I would any day suggest egmat course to anyone who is seriously looking for a score improvement.

I was very depressed when I saw my GMAT score in my first attempt for which I had prepared very hard. I got 530 with a verbal score 21. Then, I decided not to give up and realized that I should draw more attention on my verbal skills. I looked through all the GMAT courses at gmatclub.com and hypothesized that e-gmat would be optimal choice. The reason was quite simple; ranking, number of reviews and price, altogether, motivated me to taste its free online sessions and watch free verbal video lessons to evaluate potential of e-gmat verbal courses. It was so surprising for me to gain so many useful tips and knowledge from free trial and one little free live session of the e-gmat verbal live prep. So, I purchased the whole verbal prep course, verbal online and verbal live course, right away, and this was one of the decisions that I will never regret in my life.
As soon as I started the course, I acknowledged that before I was not in a right direction in my preparations for the exam. E-gmat verbal prep course has enabled me to enhance my learning experience and made the verbal part of GMAT with which I had been so uncomfortable, easily reachable. Moreover, because the instructors are so proficient in their job, it was very easy to grasp what they are trying to deliver. Verbal live prep became the course in which I learned a lot more than just watching videos and applying the theory on my own. It was invaluable when instructors navigate me through right path, explaining all the invisible pitfalls arisen along the way. Additionally, there is great opportunity to get instant vital answers for the questions worrying me mostly. I felt myself quite confident and empowered after each live prep session and highly inspired to attend next one. In addition, e-gmat has provided me with extremely important tools and key strategies that I had considered insignificant before. For instance, following 3 step method and the perseverance on understanding the meaning on SC questions have led me to tackle toughest SC questions in a high time manner. Pre-thinking each assumption, strengthen, weaken and evaluate questions has become the best tool in solving all CR questions. Furthermore, e-gmat verbal live course has showed me how to identify the correct answer with 70% probability without even looking at options through its valuable strategies. Also, the application tests after every session as well as scholoranium tests have helped me to keep track of where I am and of what should be strengthened.
Thus, I am very grateful for this course since it allowed me to be confident at any GMAT verbal question no matter how tough it is. Thanks to this course after a two-month preparation my verbal score on GMATprep mock exam has increased to 36 from 21. Therefore, I would highly recommend this course for those who seek for greater improvement in their verbal skills. This course provides you with the core elements in a very efficient and strategically right way.
I was very weak in the verbal concepts when I started preparing for GMAT. One of my friends suggested about the verbal live course of egmat. I have since then been a fan of it. The course covers indepth details of each verbal concepts and quizzes covering the concepts for each. I really found it useful to get the basics right before starting to practise on the scholaranium. I would recommend this to anyone who has issues with the basics of verbal concepts. I am myself recommending it to all my friends. Wish all the best to the egmat team! Keep up the good work.
I have started using egmat course for more than three months now. I have found it very usefeul especially the scholaranium section. The verbal scholaranium has very diverse set of questions that is very good for all levels of GMAT takers. For me, I was having a lot of trouble with CR section initially. Ability to filter questions by difficulty helped me initially. I was able to track how well I was doing in the different levels of questions. The SC and RC sections are also very useful. I consitently use the EGMAT scholaranium to practise atlease 10-15 questions a day depending on my schedule.
After paying huge perks for coaching in Crack ISB and attending classes for almost 3 months, i could not improve in my GMAT score. Then when i discussed with one of my friend, he has suggested me to go for E-GMAT, which is good for improving scores in verbal. I got 80 points score improvement with in 2 weeks of E-GMAT course purchase. I always thought we have to remember 100s of rues in grammar. But E-Gmat has thought verbal course in unique manner proper Techniques in understanding English.Generally learn techniques in maths, but it has thought us to learn English in technical manner.
I had given my GMAT last year in October and scored an abysmal V-28 which resulted in a poor overall score of 650 despite scoring a whooping Q-50. So for my next attempt the strategy was very clear - to concentrate predominantly on Verbal with some intermittent emphasis on the Quants section.
So the Verbal preparations began in full swing in January 2017. I read the entire Manhattan SC section and solved the enitre SC and CR sections from OG. But somehwere deep inside I was not convinced with the method of approaching the verbal question and was in search of a mentor to guide me . At this juncture a friend suggested me to try out E-GMAT . I wasted no time and immediately browsed through the free concept files on the same day. I was so impressed that I immediately bought the Verbal Online package on the very same day and it turned out to be the best decision with regards to the GMAT preparation. After about a month I upgraded the package to Verbal LIVE in order to access the Live Sessions which again proved to be really helpful. I think I can safely say that the entire 8 point improvement in my verbal score is all due to the E-GMAT course.
I would like to recommend the E-GMAT's Verbal course for the following reasons:
1) SC Course : I think the E-GMAT's 3 step process to solve the SC questions is a game changer. This approach helped me to improve my SC accuracy drastically. Also the concepts files especially that of 'Modifiers' and 'Comparisons' are really helpful.
2) CR - Prethinking Methodolgy : This enabled me to approach the CR questions in a new manner . Approaching the CR questions by this method really helps to improve the accuracy and at the same time to reduce the time spent on each question.
3) Scholaranium Platform : E-GMAT offers a wonderful portal to practise several questions. It helps to access the exact strengths and weaknesses and helps to strategize the study plan accordingly.

I struggled a lot with verbal in my first attempt to gmat whereas my quant was not that bad. I scored 33 in Verbal & 48 in quant. I did so many SC & CR questions but couldnt improve the accuracy and thus couldnt score good in verbal on the real gmat. I havent yet taken the gmat after taking the course but I see substantial improvement in verbal. I wanted to take the exam last month -Sep'16 but due to some uncontrollable situations I couldnt take it yet. I have been away from the studies for last one month and plan to take the exam around 30th Nov.
I found e-gmat's SC & CR very helpful. Before I had to put the pause on studies, I starting hitting 39-40 on verbal in Mock tests and certainly I am much confident to crack the exam now. I always thought of SC as something with lot of rules but e-gmat makes SC so simple. Their strategies of modifiers are very helpful and after finishing the course I realised that there is no need to learn all the ideoms and other rules that actually arent required to score well.
Their CR strategies are also very helpful. Their diagram strategies helps to achieve high accuracy on hard questions. I didnt spend too much time on the e-gmat's RC part. So, I am not very sure about the value it creates in the learning but SC & CR are definitely very helpful, specially for non-native speakers.
Having planned to give my GMAT few years ago I never had the time to prepare for the same, due to the busy work-life I never seem to have a proper time for a Offline classroom session. When I started preparation, I had no idea on how to approach Verbal sections, and I got haunted by most of the questions in OG. I found even extremely difficult to understand the solutions provided in OG SC&CR and RC. .Then one day I heard reviews about EGMAT through my friend and Instantly bought their Verbal online subscription for 6 month complete package(Verbal) which enhance my skills and develop my ability to solve gmat questions with time restrictions. I could see the difference and was able to comprehend things much easier and in a structured way. I have gained a lot from EGMAT and my verbal scores jumps from late 20 points to 30 points and so on .Highly suggest this course for anyone who is already good with math and looking for a quick revision, or anyone who's starting from scratch. The RC videos were really helpful as well. e-GMAT provides you a number of key strategies that you must keep in mind while reading through RCs. The one strategy that worked wonders for me was "to get immersed" in the passage and read what happens next!" I even used the note making approach during RCs quite regularly .Intially they seem to me time consuming but later on practising questions with that strategies increased my post scores with greater accuracy. Furthermore CR videos focussed on key strategy “Prethinking” in mind before jump to answer choices and increase your chances to choose correct answers within time constraints.
To summarize, I highly recommend this course to everyone for their structured course curriculum, streamline approach and encourage all skeptics to at least try the free lessons offered by e-GMAT and then take a final decision to buy their online course . Last but not the least I would like to say thanks to Rajat Sir,Payal Madam and Shraddha Madam for their marvellous support during my entire preparation and keep my morale boost up
Thanks and All the best.
