I am a non- native English speaker and was looking for a good for a Verbal Course which could help improve my S.C section. I purchased S.C course and I must say that was the best investment I have made so far. It’s a tailor-made course for aspirants who are weak in Verbal and covers all topics from a GMAT standpoint.
The course is organized and has a nice flow which helps you get the maximum learning out of it.The excellent insights provided in videos of all topics give you in depth knowledge and help you strengthen your weak areas.A ton of thanks to Verbal Instructors Shraddha and Payal. Their approach of dissecting each S.C Question by splitting the clauses helped eliminating the wrong answer choices within short span of time.Their method of providing simple day to day examples to understand difficult questions made it easy to understand it.
The R.C strategy too worked well for me. I was not really good at solving main point and Inference Questions. The tactics provided in the webinar helped me ace this section. Pre-thinking the answers, paying close attention to the key words, making mental notes improved my accuracy around 80%.
I’ll without a doubt recommend everyone who wants to ace GMAT verbal to go for e-gmat without any hesitation.
Initially when I started preparing for GMAT with a coaching center in Delhi, my quant was good but my verbal was not up to the mark and hence my overall score was hovering around 650-670. When I saw the reviews on GMAT club about e-gmat and checked out the site, I found it very helpful and decided to enrol. After about 4 months of preparation I took the GMAT on 24 December 2016 and got 720 (Q51, V36). I was happy to see my verbal score which had improved from V28 in the mocks to V36. All thanks to e-gmat and its easy explanation of tough concepts.
E-GMAT has been great companion during my journey to prepare for GMAT. Course offered by E-Gmat is wonderful. I subscribed for E-GMAT verbal online course as I wanted to study at my own pace. As, I started learning with Verbal section, I really thanked god for choosing such a great course. First of all, course try to know my own potential and then provide all the theory and concepts related to the topic to further improve my learning. I was very scared of critical reasoning questions, but Falsification method, Pre thinking strategy and negation techniques have raised my confidence in this topic and ease my job. Sentence correction topics have been explained in such a detailed manner with very nice examples that I can challenge any one that he/she can score great in sentence correction part if one learn and follow all techniques and methods explained in the course. In reading comprehension part, I learnt how to comprehend instead of just reading by following E-Gmat strategy. Time is very important factor in solving passages. E - Gmat strategies have been very helpful in managing time and solve primary purpose questions or inference questions correctly. Then, there are various kind of quizzes which helped me to fortify my concepts and know my weakness in particular topics. There is a section in online course with name scholaranium which tests my ability in various topics and show my progress through detail statistics. Same kind of strategy is followed in Quant section too. Algebra, Number properties, Probabilities concepts which are very challenging to solve have been explained in very comprehensive manner. I have never found any course which follow such a state of art methodology. I have also gone through KAPLAN and MAGOOSH, but didnot find these courses as effective and easy as E-GMAT course. Thanks E - GMAT for helping me in fulfilling my dreams.
I will get straight to the topic.
Bought the verbal live prep last year around the same time combining with a friend of mine. In the initial stages did not use it much but after that the videos became a habit.
Video tutorials are pretty good, in depth and quite interactive. Julio will become you best mate after some time :)
Additional pdfs are pretty awesome too and they basically covers all the exceptions to the GMAT verbal rules.
The best part of the complete course was the scholaranium. I used it extensively during my prep. This particular feature is a must have.
Now some negative aspects. Live course was pretty much a waste. I dont think it is worth the money. I made a mistake initially by opting for the costliest one.
Reason i am saying this is the live prep session is too slow to follow. This happens because there are students of every level and hence the session is slow.
So i would suggest to go with the Online course and enjoy the studies. And yes, a must have for non-native speakers.
Cheers!!
I gave my GMAT in Oct 2016 in which I scored 610. The online course that I had taken had a good Quant section but not such a great verbal section, especially for non-natives. I had decided to retake the GMAT in one month again and this time I decided to purchase the Verbal Online course from e-Gmat and I wasn't disappointed at all. The kind of depth in which they cover the entire Verbal section is pretty amazing. And they start right from the scratch. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to give the GMAT again due to some reasons but I can assure you that I could see my accuracy improving by a great margin. I would surely recommend e-Gmat to everyone, especially non-natives who are looking to boost their score.
When I started preparing for GMAT I faced immense problem in verbal and to be specific in sentence correction. I started studying from 'Manhattan GMAT Sentence Correction' but it was difficult to apply all those rules while solving the problem. Some of my friends were also preparing for GMAT they suggested me to use e-gmat. For more than a week I used the trial version. There I studied 'verb-ed' and 'verb-ing' modifiers. The video was very lucid. After studying it I started applying it on OG. It really helped me in solving problem.
I decided to take the e-gmat verbal live prep course. The best thing about the online classes was that it was on weekends. It helped me to balance my work life with GMAT preparation. Whenever I couldn't attain the online class I used to get the recordings from e-gmat. Live prep helped me understanding the concepts very deeply. It was very interactive session.
The 'scholaranium' section of e-gmat helped me solving tougher questions. The beauty of this section is that I can set the difficulty level of questions and I can also select the various sections I want to do such as RC, CR or sentence correction. This helped me in solving problems within the stipulated time. Even time we can set against a set of questions.
Quant section did'nt trouble me, I think my engineering background helped me in it. Nevertheless, I got full length practice test from e-gmat. It definitely helped me quantitative aptitude. The verbal live prep is very well designed and I would certainly recommend it to everyone who think they need to work on their verbal section. Online faculty is very good. They clear each and every doubts. Thank you e-GMAT for making such a helpful online course. I will be appearing for GMAT in next month.
All the best to all of you who are reading this.
Thank you :)

I came across the e-gmat .com randomly while I was looking for online prep course because of no time to go to regular classes due to pressure in work . I tried free trail for 2 days and took full live prep course .
The course content is detailed and good for mainly for Non- Native speakers,
Quant: Content is very good, and best part is practice after every topic where you can know whether you understand the specified topic or not.
Verbal : Content starts from very basic where non-native speaker benefits most. I never thought RC and CR is very easy for me.But, e-gmat provide me very good detailed concept how to approach and how to analyse .
I am getting score improvement of 100 points as of now . But , i am looking for 700+ score . I need to work very hard to get that score . But, i am very happy that e-gmat provides
Scholaranium for practice where 1000+ questions with detailed analysis and OG question list too.
I would highly recommend the verbal live prep course offered by E-GMAT to anyone, no matter what stage you are in your GMAT prep. The course is very detailed and very well structured, which should not only beneficial to non native speaker but also to native speakers.
Each of the three sections starts out with foundation concepts, which will strengthen your basics and then the course builds on from there. As you move on to each subtopic, your confidence will increase which shall reflect on your scores. So for example, the critical reasoning foundation section emphasizes on teaching what a premise is and what a conclusion is and how to identify them in a simple and complex arguments. Once you train yourself to identify the premise and conclusion, then the course will build on how to find an assumption, and then how to strengthen or weaken an argument. And the best part, all of this is in interactive format. The live course is very engaging and will keep you motivated to study.
The Quant Live prep course offered by e-GMAT is phenomenal. I was struggling to get beyond Q35 when I started preparing for the GMAT with MGMAT books. This, by no means is a reflection on the quality of the MGMAT books. They are good and detailed. But for me, an interactive prep course was more suitable for my learning style. So after seeing a lots of positive reviews about e-GMAT‘s verbal live prep course on the GMAT club, I decided to sign up for their complete GMAT live prep course (includes both Verbal and Quant).
So they breakdown the quant section into 5 topics (N.P., Algebra, Geometry, Word Problems, and Advances quant) and further in sub topics. Every sub topic starts with a diagnostic test and then you complete a concept video which will develop your basics. Then you take an application quiz and answer OG questions related to the sub topics. After that you get to attend their live online sessions, which are structured very well. In live online sessions, the instructors will walk you through on how to apply the concepts you have learnt to 700 level questions. The live sessions are very detailed and you will learn to answer 700 level questions. In short, the e-GMAT course starts with basic level concepts and then builds up from there to help you to answer 700 level questions.
I struggled with Number Properties and had a very hard time answering 600 levels questions, especially data sufficiency questions. But with e-GMAT prep, I was able to strengthen my core concepts, which eventually helped to get to Q44.
I would highly recommend e-GMAT course to anyone, no matter what stage you are in your GMAT prep. They allow you to review some of their concept files for free and also let you attend couple of live sessions (I believe Number Properties 1 and Algebra) for free as well. You won’t regret it!
During the first time I took the GMAT test, It was a average experience for me in verbal. I made a good score in Math (51M) and I finished this first part really confident. When I started the first question of verbal, I spent many time and I lost the main opportunity to have a good score. Unfortunatelly I knew E-gmat only few days before my the day of my test and I had not the enough time to learn the process to solve the questions as E-gmat does.
Only one day after my first attempt, I bought the Verbal Online Prep. It was one of my best investiments that I have done until today. Specially for the Sentence Correction (one of my principal weaknesses), I know that my improvement was something really significative. I passed from a begginer student level to a teacher level. I remember that when I had a tutor in person, she always made the correction with me and after the E-gmat course I can identify the errors in a way pretty similar to that of my tutor. But this course is actually video form of Manhattan
Hi sir

Hello,
If you're planning to take to take the GMAT in March or April of next year, then it might be little early to start studying. Please read this thread to decide when to start studying. https://gmatclub.com/forum/gmat-study-plan-217827.html?fl=menu
As far as additional materials, you will not need them. e-GMAT will cover topics in details. In order to grasp those topics, you will need to practice questions, which you can do through their Scholaranium, Official GMAT questions, and GMAT club questions.
Good luck!
