I would definitely recommend e-GMAT RC course for every GMAT aspirant especially non-natives. I have improved my accuracy from 50% to 80%. All the credit to e-GMAT RC course. One major difference in comparison to other courses is the way RC is taught in this program. The method is very scientific and easy to understand & apply. The audio and visual feature of the course is amazing and make the student to get involved in the course. In a way, the method helps you to recognize a pattern in GMAT RC's and subsequently helps you to increase your accuracy tremendously.

I had an idea of what the GMAT would be like. I remember distinctly taking the GRE (with minimal prep) for my previous masters program and I did NOT want to be that unprepared! I signed up for a GMAT prep course at the local university that included access to Magoosh. It worked out well, because I had used a trial of Magoosh and had already planned to extend my subscription.

The videos were great! They were broken down enough that I didn't feel overwhelmed. I was able to review specific areas without having to go through things I didn't need. The questions were helpful, especially the explanations. I loved the overall layout of the website. It was very user-friendly.

I wish I had utilized it more, but I didn't give myself enough time before I took the GMAT (only 2 months and working full-time); however, Magoosh supplemented my other study materials and course perfectly and further clarified some of the trickier problems. I scored a 680, which I know could have been higher with additional prep, but I'm happy with that and recommend Magoosh to anyone wanting to acheive their goal score.

I enrolled in the Live Online course in December with plans of taking the GMAT in March and, if necessary, retaking it in April. My experience with Manhattan GMAT was excellent. My teachers (Gilad Edelman and Marc Fienberg) were great. They had a thorough understanding of the material presented in the course and were great at answering questions asked by students. The course is a lot of work, but it is well worth it if you are shooting for a top score.

What really made Manhattan GMAT great was not only the quality of the instructors, but also the extensive amount of materials provided to help you succeed. The study guides are very thorough and are great at explaining the concepts. Especially with the quant, these books were fantastic. The OG Archer they provide is also extremely helpful. It allows students to time themselves on official guide questions and records answers. Based off this data the system identifies strengths and weaknesses and allows one to study accordingly. It also provides answer explanations for all the math questions. My one issue with the Archer is that the questions in the supplemental verbal and quant guides do not have answer explanations in the Archer. This would have been very helpful as the answer explanations in the official guide are not particularly helpful.

All in all, I had a great experience with the course and would recommend it to anyone. In the end, I improved 90 points above my initial diagnostic test. If you are serious about getting a top score and are willing to put in the necessary effort to master the material, Manhattan GMAT should be at the top of your list for GMAT prep courses.

The MGMAT recorded courses are great if you want to score between 600-700, which may be all you need. However, in order to get 700+ the courses themselves don't really cut it.

On the other hand, the books, online tests, and other materials are GREAT! Paired with Google it's all you need to drag you up from a 500 to a 770 ;)

The yellow pad and pen are a great addition to the pack - it eases you into the simulating the tests. The online tests the MGMAT has are a bit more challenging in the math department than the real test but the pressure that creates to learn the shortcuts of the math problems will help you out. SC was what tripped me up the most, but the MGMAT SC book paired with the Official Guide (included in the package) dragged me through that kicking and screaming.

And of course, since it is a pricey course, after you're all done you can sell the books on ebay for a few hundred too. If I were to do it again I'd skip the 9 online courses and just get all the books + online practice exams.

When I started the E-GMAT trial, within the first 20 minutes, I knew I just stumbled upon a goldmine.

I was struggling with verbal throughout my prep scoring around V32-33 and my only problem was SC. The first thing I did was by the MGMAT SC book (the bible) which in all honestly is a great book. It covers topics welll, and the examples are good (probably 8/10)... however it didnt work. The reason MGMAT didnt work was because its like reading a text book, they teach you all these fancy terminology which you dont really need....what you do need is HOW TO APPLY these techniques ... *enter* E-GMAT.

E-GMAT was great! Although I didn't do as well on my official gmat as planned my verbal score was 38 (my target).

However my quant score unfortunately killed me. I am a finance and economics major, and I got a little cocky about the quant.

The owners (or creators) of E-GMAT are wonderful. They are incredibly helpful and take a personal interest in their students. After my official GMAT I was really depressed, and NOT because of verbal, but because of Quant (something E-GMAT doesnt cover). And yet they were incredibly helpful, and managed to boost my confidence and get me going again!

I will go through E-GMAT again and I am confident my verbal next time will be around 40.

Bottom line:
THE BEST SC tool out there! It is NOT just for Non Natives, it is for EVERYONE trying to perfect SC.

I have been using a combination of study materials, but out of all of them I have to say the Magoosh Premium is the best of them all. the pros of this amazing prep course I've seen include the following:


-ability to use the software anywhere, whether it be on a PC, Mac, tablet, smartphone, or any other device with internet connection
- breakdown of the topics in the tutorial section
- ability to filter specific topics to work on in the practice section
-being able to track problems answered incorrectly, correctly, and track progress
-the option to flag specific problems in order to take another look at it later
-tutorial videos that were related to the problem after you complete each problem if you feel you need another lesson on that specific topic. tip of advice for watching video; right click on lesson video below the explanation of how to solve the problem and choose option to open in new tab.I found this to be very helpful.

A friend of mine who was studying for the GRE recommended Magoosh, and I couldn't be happier with their service. The reason I found Magoosh so helpful is that the GMAT is all about tips and tricks: without Magoosh, I would never have felt as comfortable with the format of the test and the themes of the questions. The GMAT is unlike any test I have taken before. I just graduated college, so although I will be taking the GMAT again with more math training, Magoosh helped give me a lot of confidence because of the strategies the lessons taught me. I can not emphasize more about this course and the instructors: Payal and Rajat are awesome! After joining this live course, my SC accuracy increased from 70% to 90%. E-gmat strategy for pre-thinking is equally good (Pre think at least one assumption before jumping on to the answer choices). CR accuracy increased from 65% to 80%. This course streamlined my process of answering SC/CR questions; I started emphasizing on the meaning of the sentence for SC and on the argument structure/pre thinking after joining the verbal live course. Verbal live course is on the tougher side and emphasizes more on the harder questions; I used to go through these questions again and again and this process bolstered my confidence and helped me in gaining 4-5 points in verbal.

I didn't know anything about the e-gmat course before I signed up with them, disappointed with my previous attempt. I had tried manhattan gmat before but found that while they tell you what's the right usage,you don't really know the reason for why the correct answer is
correct. In the e-GMAT SC course, the e-gmat team really takes the trouble of explaining what in the sentence is incorrect or correct. Also, the verbal-live addon sessions are a bonus since you get some live interaction with the faculty to get your questions answered as the session continues.

After taking the e-gmat course, I improved 5 points in verbal overall within a month. To me this was a big deal, because I started believing in myself. The SC course not only helps with SC, but also with CR and RC because the e-gmat course really breaks down the sentence and explains how you're supposed to read a complex gmat-like sentence. If you want to see your score improve without wasting much time, go with e-gmat. I wish I had done this earlier.

e-GMAT strengthened my foundation for SC and CR and boosted my confidence levels. I got 680(Q-49,V-32) in june’11. In august I took e-gmat SC+CR+Grockit bundle and practiced it daily, even till the last 1 hour of my test. I used to think of e-gmat process as lengthy and time consuming, but unknowingly the same process helped me in getting a better score. Practicing e-gmat’s process more helped me in improving my hit rate. The number of correct answers increased as I started using their concepts and methods. Their stress on giving importance to meaning of the sentence in SC questions, breaking the argument in CR questions, pre-thinking, forming a logical structure etc. really helped in the process of elimination. The way they divided the whole SC and CR into small concepts is very good. It helps you to find out your weak areas and improve on it before moving to the next concept. The audio was very good. Audio worked wonders for me. I used to re-listen to all the concepts which helped in strengthening the concept more. Their way of explaining the solution to all the quiz questions was very good because analyzing the question and answer choices is the best way to know the process of solving the questions.
