GMAT test series by Experts' Global is simply great. My scores in their mocks, total are almost identical to the scores in GMAT Prep .The quality of their questions is really high and they feel like the GMAT questions. Experts' Global seems to have taken special care to ensure that all tests include questions from all GMAT concepts so this really makes the mock experience similar to GMAT's and you get to know your level in all different GMAT sections, questions types, topics, and concepts.
The difficulty level of quant might be a little on the higher side , but I think it does help build your confidence and prepare you for the real exam where the stress of the exam adds in pressure.
Overall the test series provide a good deal for the money to get your hands dirty and gain confidence before sitiing for the real exam
I began my GMAT prep journey knowing my softest section was going to be Quant. I chose Target Test Prep specifically because they provide a holistic prep approach but also are renown for their Quant thoroughness. This was proven to be true; meticulous lessons that drill down concepts and reinforce them over time were the perfect resource to improve my scores significantly.
I liked the ability to focus on individual concepts (statistics, probability, work, general word problems, etc). This allowed me to focus my time and energy on the specific topics that I needed to improve, rather than take a broad approach that tackled too much at once.
I really liked the TTP course. It's customizable, so it allows you to pick a desired score range and then gives you lessons based on that score range and your previous GMAT score. I picked the Expert+ (685 or higher) and I had not yet taken the exam, so I left the previous score blank. These selections gave me the most comprehensive version of the course. I spent about 9 months on it, and about 500 study hours. I wanted to cover every topic that was likely to come up, and practice on a wide variety of questions in subject matter and difficulty level, and it met both of those goals. The material was also challenging at times, but I consider that a benefit. After completing TTP's self-study plan and taking six official mocks, I was able to score an 805 on my first GMAT.
Overall, TTP's program is excellent, thorough, and well organized. It prepared me to earn my perfect GMAT FE score.
I took the 4-month Focus Edition course from e-GMAT to prepare for the GMAT, and overall, I found it to be a very structured and well-designed learning experience. One of the biggest strengths of the course is how it helps build strong fundamentals. The modular approach allowed me to choose the depth of study based on my existing knowledge, which made learning more efficient. The critical reasoning strategies were particularly helpful, and the extensive question bank gave me plenty of practice to improve my speed and confidence in quant and data interpretation.
Overall, e-GMAT is an excellent resource for GMAT prep, especially for those looking to build strong conceptual clarity and structured learning. The course’s focus on building skills, detailed explanations, and flexibility in learning depth makes it a great choice for anyone serious about acing the exam.
I did some self-prep with OG guides for a couple of months, but I kept missing easy questions. Because the GMAT is an adaptive exam, simple mistakes are a killer, as you won't perform at your level. This broke my confidence and made me more anxious. So, I decided to switch things up and opted for a month of TTP.
Because of my technical background, I am used to long proofs and abstractions in math. The TTP DI and Quant courses helped me by introducing me to more practical and concise problem-solving methods that are less error-prone than my usual complicated methods.
Also, the large number of topic-specific questions were so helpful in solidifying those skills, so they became second nature. I still made some of those mistakes, but way less of them. More importantly, using the TTP course gave me my confidence back by reinforcing the fundamentals. This allowed me to have high consistent performance in my mocks, unlike 6 weeks before, where my mock scores were all over the place.
TTP has helped me improve my score immensely by teaching me all the important tricks and tools to solve even the most difficult GMAT questions. The extensive range of quizzes and practice questions gives one more than enough to practice each topic perfectly. On the TTP platform, everything is clearly laid out and easy to navigate, which saves a lot of time when you have a busy schedule to manage. The detailed explanations break down complex concepts into easily digestible chunks, helping you to really understand the underlying principles rather than just memorizing formulas. Overall, TTP's comprehensive learning approach, user-friendly interface, and dedicated support make it, in my opinion, the best GMAT prep tool that will help you gain confidence and see real improvements in your test performance.
I started the Magoosh Premium Plan on May 16, 2024, and scored 575 on February 8, 2025. I started seriously prepping for the exam from November. The program’s strongest aspects were its Quant video lessons and detailed video explanations for Quant questions, which were clear and effective. The Data Interpretation (DI) section was also well-structured and helpful. However, I found the Verbal section lacking in depth and had to supplement it with GMAT Ninja for better preparation. While Magoosh is great for Quant and DI, those aiming for a strong Verbal score might need additional resources. Overall, it's a solid budget-friendly option to build up your foundation, particularly for visual learners.
I used E-GMAT as my primary resource from the start. Initially, I planned to complete my preparation in 3–4 months, but it ultimately took me 6 months to reach my target score.
1. Technology: The platform is exceptionally well-designed and user-friendly. Each question is accompanied by a detailed analysis and a doubt section, allowing users to read and learn from other students' queries and expert responses
2. Verbal: Their methodologies for each question type, along with Pre-Thinking, helped me develop essential skills to approach Verbal (CR & RC) in a structured and logical manner—a stark contrast to my earlier assumption that these questions were simply a "read-and-solve" type. Master Comprehension: a course on how to read and when to take breaks was game changer for me. The quality of verbal questions was excellent. I never felt a need to refer any other book/ course for Verbal.
3. Personalised Study plan(PSP): This tool helped me to keep a check in my daily progress and provided me with realistic timelines to completion. Though it took me more time than I had anticipated and that study plan has envisaged.
4. Expert Guidance: The E-GMAT mentor support through email was instrumental in helping me structure my preparation in an organized way. I had enrolled for PSP at last leg of my preparation. While helpful, I personally found it to be quite similar to the email guidance I was already receiving. My suggestion: enrol for PSP as early as possible, and make a comprehensive study plan with your mentor from the start. In the last two weeks, I felt I couldn't allocate requisite time to Data Insights (DI) for requisite improvement, largely due to the lack of visibility on overall plan structure.
The Quant section is more challenging than the actual GMAT, which strengthens problem-solving skills and enhances exam readiness. Verbal prethinking sessions are highly effective, offering structured guidance that improves accuracy and efficiency. Solutions are detailed, with expert insights that simplify complex concepts. The DI (Data Interpretation) questions closely match the actual GMAT’s difficulty level, making them a valuable practice resource. The platform is well-structured, ensuring a comprehensive and rigorous preparation experience. With in-depth content and expert support, it equips students with the skills and confidence needed to excel. Additionally, the mentors are highly supportive, providing expert guidance and detailed explanations that clarify even the most complex topics.
Overall, this is a well-designed and highly effective preparation tool.
Do not hesitate to start with TTP if you want to achieve your dream score! The course is structured, with tons of study material and practise questions, each with detailed explanation and videos. You can keep track of your progress through the dashboard, and see which areas you need to improve in. There are timed practise tests and review test to make sure you remember the concepts you learned and you can solve the problems in time. I knew I was in the right hands from the first moment, I only used TTP and it was absolutely essential in preparing for GMAT and scoring 705.
