I have been working with many different online courses through my GMAT studies, but have to say that my favorite one has been Magoosh. The idea of having short videos explaining each problem makes you feel like you are in a classroom that goes at your own pace. Overall the software is great for proving you with the data you need for reviewing your mistakes and makes sure that you can access the necessary theory for solving a problem with the click of one button. Regarding the video explanations on the theoretical side, I believe that they be more concise, I fell sometimes overwhelmed with the fact that I have studied for 3 hours and haven’t even finished an entire section. This video theory is good if you have the time to go through all of it. If not I would just recommend to start solving problems and then reviewing them individually with the video explanation of that particular problem. I will definitely recommend Magoosh to my friends. Since it has helped me reach my 650 goal in a timely matter and by really focusing on the subjects that I have not yet mastered.
Watching a video is an easier and a quicker way to understand problems. That is what Magoosh does. They have a collection of good videos for lessons as well as for all the questions. This helps a lot. Reading the solution to a problem is quite time consuming and one may not grasp the actual approach followed in the solution i.e. step by step. Besides, Magoosh has a good collection of questions and a large pool of practice questions with the flexibility to create custom practice tests. This is quite helpful.
However, it would be better if they could include some AWA questions in addition to the related video and also they could give the option to start a practice test with IR section included.
Overall, my experience with Magoosh is quite satisfactory and I would recommend it to others as well.
Magoosh Math offers great videos and a variety of techniques that are different from those in Manhattan GMAT prep books. Given the price point and the practice question bank, it's definitely worth the price. Just note that their complimentary PDFs outlining Math aren't as well organized or thorough as Manhattan's Strategy Guides. Some of the videos may leave more to desire because they're short and to the point without additionally expansion on some of the techniques used.
I also noticed that their practice questions generally relate to topics Magoosh covered in their videos which can limit the the mimicking of real test questions.
The only prep you need to ace GMAT...
Do not spend hundreds of dollars for online courses. Magoosh worth more than $1000. Hundreds of questions with video explanations is enough to get more than 700.
Mike explains every question in a way that you enjoy studying math :). Also its IOS apps is free as well. work on flashcards on the go.

First of all, i am a non-native speaker. I was straggling in verbal part. After conversation with eGMAT experts, i had came to know that my approach to the question was not correct.
I joined eGMAT verbal live prep course. e-GMAT covers entire verbal of GMAT with the excellent explanation. Does't matter at which stage of Gmat you are, but eGmat helps you to learn from basics to advance 700+ level. egmat has awesome instructor team - Really intelligent and patient individuals. Also easily approachable via email, you can get your doubts clarified. Summary of each individual concept helps you to revise. I had not subscribed for Quant but after gone through quant video, i find it superb.
All you need for Gmat is eGMAT.
I am yet to take the GMAT exam and have enrolled for the Verbal online prep course and completed the SC section. The Sentence correction is one of the best that I have come across.
It comes with:
- Unique Pre-thinking method
- Detailed videos explaining the application of various concepts
- Access to live workshops
Also as the entire content is online, you can review it as per your convenience and schedule.
I would provide another detailed review after completing the CR and RC sections but I am sure they would be as good (if not better) than the SC section.
To start with i m a non native speaker. Before i have started the EGMAT course i have tried Manhattan verbal books. This didn't help me much as i was very weak in my verbal part. This course is started from the basics and slowly went in. I really loved the way sentence correction course was taught. In the Live classes we were shown how to attack a question which is really helpful. I truly thank EGMAT team for creating such a wonderful course. Every penny spent on this course as fees is worth deserving. I recommend this course who are non natives and are really looking for score improvement.

Easy to follow - Course is paced and structured well. Important concepts are stressed and summarized at the end of every video. There are quizzes after every concept. This really helped.
Pricing is reasonable - I think this might be a considerable factor for most. Refer to their official page, you will find some nice addons like mocks and more.
This is a good product, these guys got everything right. Their renewed platform v2.0 makes it even better. All you need to do is to complete this course.
Hi:
I got to know about e-gmat courses through gmatclub and at that time I was scoring not more than 23 in verbal. My first GMAT prep mock was terrible (Q47V23) and it was clear to me that if I don’t improve my verbal score, it wouldn’t matter if I score even 51 in quant. After trying a good amount of free classes/sessions offered by Manhattan, Kaplan, Princeton etc., I attended the free strategy sessions offered by e-GMAT that made me realize the importance of e-gmat courses over others. It is even easier to tell the difference when one is a non-native speaker of English language. In a heartbeat, I decided to subscribe e-GMAT ‘s verbal live prep (VLP) course.
Just within a month of subscription on VLP, my verbal score shot up from 23 to 28-29 range, which was astounding. During live sessions, I got opportunity to work on my thought process and improve my approach to solve certain type of problem. The most advantageous part of live sessions is that you get to discuss your doubts directly with the experts and fill the knowledge gap right there and then. All teachers (Rajat, Payal, Krishna, Juhi and others) of e-GMAT VLP courses are very thorough and they try their best to reach out everybody in the class. I was very weak in critical reasoning (CR), but after 4 months, my accuracy improved appreciably and my verbal improved to V39 from V23 which is too good to be true (if I recall my initial score).
If you want to make most out of VLP course, don’t hesitate to ask even trivial questions during the live sessions.
Cheers,
GS
Hello
Initially when I started preparing I realized verbal was not that easy as I thought. There were many grammar rules that had to be brushed up. e-GMAT helped me with that. The best part about e-GMAT is that the way the concepts are explained it makes the student confident and also improves his verbal skills. It starts with the basics and eventually take you to a more advanced concepts. I could see the difference in my approach towards the Verbal section after taking the course. I would strongly recommend e-GMAT course.
Best Part about e-GMAT :
1. Covers everything
2. Every concept has a practice set
3.Can go through the lessons at your own will and own understanding
Suggestion :
1. Add few more practice questions
