I decided to apply to HBS about 2 months before the deadline and knew nothing about MBA or GMAT.

Studied for a month (about 80 hours) based on free resources, using weekend mocks to define each week study plan. Felt like I was running after my own tail, scores going down, feeling frustrated. Was probably missing the basics and how to best approach questions.

Decided on August 2nd to hire eGMAT, because all resources were already there and I could set my own pace.
I really liked the comprehensive way each content was organized and I could learn how to identify types of questions and how to best approach them. At first, it might seem you are dedicating much time on one thing, but it does pay off. I had rushed for a month and that did not help me at all.

I took a lot of notes and focused on what was most critical for me, because I had very few time (26 days between hiring eGMAT and test date). I really wish I had had the time to go through the whole content in the platform because it was an enjoyable experience and the more I studied the better my scores got. I stutied about 120 hours during second month.

I enrolled with GMAT Whiz after researching about it on GMAT Club and after one session online with Piyush. I had already attempted GMAT multiple times and hit a plateau at 650. While I had a Q49/50 mostly, my verbal score never crossed 27, and I was disappointed. I had already spent time and money on the e-GMAT online course, and it did not seem to work for me. After understanding the course module from Piyush, I was convinced that GMATWhiz is the right fit for me. The course module included six sessions with Sunita Singhvi (Verbal tutor at GMATWhiz) and access to the entire verbal online course.

The course was very carefully designed. It first started with the basics of SC and then moving on to CR. CR structure was something I had never come across before. Sunita Singhvi designed the entire Verbal module, including CR, and the frameworks and way it has been put are just remarkable. I could see myself improving, and my method evolved drastically. The RC method popularly called 'Involved and Evolved Reading' helped me face even the most terrifying of all passages. SC module was the last we did, and I must mention, even when you do the online course since it is all designed and built by Sunita Ma'am from scratch. You will think that she is right there in front of you teaching the class.

We had checkpoints after which I used to have my one-on-one sessions with Sunita Ma'am. At every session, I remember she used to carefully examine how I am doing with respect to the methodology and give feedback. For the first time, I was enjoy studying for GMAT instead of getting all mortified with all the preparation I had been doing.

I will recommend everyone who has hit a plateau or not, to go for GMATWhiz as one size doesn't fit all. The AI-driven platform helps you work on your weaknesses and identify strength in each module. This also allows the tutor to drive the sessions in respective directions. I don't have enough words to express my strong recommendation. All the best! :)

The Mock Tests at ExpertsGlobal were fairly good. There were 15 practice tests and were great practice for the GMAT exam. It was quite similar to the real exam. The analytics provided was quite helpful and helped to know your weakness and improve on them quickly. The interface was also quite similar to the real GMAT Exam. I must say the team has done a wonderful job. There were also video explanations for the answers. One area which they can work on is the solution explanations. I found some explanations not satisfactory. They looked as if they were made hasty. Nonetheless, the mocks are great and really helped to build stamina for the exam.

I purchased e Gmat Online by using a promotion code. In my opinion, the course is very detailed.
It is an enjoyable learning process. The course structure is very straightforward and breaks down through concepts in easy-to-understand videos and slides. The section modules are studied in a fun way and offer ideas and methods to solve the GMAT questions.
Despite all my positives, I do not think that studying only through e-GMAT is enough to get a decent score if you have fundamental gaps. (or if you are an international applicant with a mother tongue different than English). I recommend all candidates combine the e-GMAT verbal and quant section with official GMAT materials in their preparations.

I took the e-GMAT full course for a preparation time of around 45 days. Though the course is lengthy, there is a detailed explanation for each concept which is a must for initial preparation. There were questions for each difficulty level for each concept with application quizzes and scholaranium.

But I felt that while going through the course and different questions, I got so used to the question types, that I was able to answer 90% of questions correctly by reading in one go. But the questions which we see in official guides and real-gmat are very different from what we see in e-gmat practice (language, style etc). That's where it all becomes difficult.
There are surely certain deficiencies in the course :
1) They say they are only a test prep company, but don't provide any prep material or guidance to prepare for AWA section.
2) The video quality for IR section was bad and unwanted background images.
3) The course can cement your concepts, but once you get used to it, all the scholaranium seems similar in Verbal (mostly SC, and CR section).
4) They count the total number of questions including OG questions but for OG only questions are available and not the options.
5) The approach which e-GMAT purports cannot be mastered in a small amount of time and once you try to apply that, it slows you down drastically, whereas GMAT is a test of speed and accuracy.
6) Once you buy the course, there is not much further support and if you ask for any help from support, they will blame you for nonsense.
7) Do not have summary files for anything except SC section.

So, on the whole, before taking the course I scored 700 and after taking the course I scored 700.
I would recommend this course if your target is up to 700, but after that, I will say apart from this course please go through additional preparation to train your mind to change for GMAT style questions.

I belong to an overrepresented category of MBA aspirants (Indian Engineer), so I knew that I had to put in some effort to achieve a high GMAT score.

I wanted a course that clarifies the basics to build a strong foundation, provides a good number of questions to test my abilities and provides expert guidance on doubts encountered. Additionally, the e-GMAT support mail is pretty active and one can actually reach out to the instructors either via the support mail or via the "Ask an Expert" feature on the e-GMAT platform.

Above all, e-GMAT was a smart investment that helped me reach my target score. Kudos to the team ! Keep supporting aspirants the way you have been !

The Magoosh videos and practice problems were great for establishing a strong baseline. The videos provided several helpful strategies for approaching quant problems, and by the end I felt I could approach the most difficult of problems. The Quant practice problems and Verbal passages are helpful, though the practice tests could be better. They were just handfuls of practice questions packaged together, and I found I performed better on the official GMAC practice tests and on real tests. That being said, I still felt the course was useful and it definitely helped me improve my score for a very reasonable price.

When I took my first cold exam, I didn't even remember how to get the slope of a line. But going through Target Test Prep enabled me to build a rock-solid foundation in the quant section that led me all the way to a Q48. The program is super well-organized, with excellent presentation and a logical method for helping you retain the material. The material itself is incredibly comprehensive, including TTP's new verbal section. The chapters on modifiers and comparisons helped me refine my strengths in the verbal section. I highly recommend using TTP for your prep, especially if you intend to use only one material, like me.

The TTP course is extremely well structured and detailed. The quants lessons which delve deep into each concept and the practice sessions at the end of every chapter help build a strong foundation. Along with my confidence, my quants score also improved substantially from the initial practice sessions. I must also mention that the recently added verbal lessons are also superbly designed. I believe that the lessons in critical reasoning were especially useful to me and helped me score better in the verbal section. I was also able to track my progress the help of the analytics and error tracker features. I was extremely disciplined with the study plan and even though I couldn’t fully complete the course in two months, I was able to increase my score significantly. In addition to the lessons in quants and verbal, I found that with the tips to handle exam day stress, I was able to manage my test day anxiety and I remained calm throughout the test.

My advice to prospective students is to follow the course plan and if possible, since the course is intense and, in my opinion, difficult to complete in two months, spend three or four months with the TTP dedicated study plan.

I strongly recommend TTP to prospective GMAT candidates.

Highly recommend it for anyone who is serious about his or her GMAT prep. The quant section is extremely detailed and simplified at the same time. The repetitive revision and chapter tests help you properly apply the learned concepts. For the verbal section too, the course is well put and comprehensive. Except for RC, this is a one stop for your entire Quant and Verbal preparation.
Additionally, the course also provides tips on how to handle time-pressure, anxiety etc during the prep. period and during the actual exam. The only con is that TTP doesn't provide any practice CATs.
Nevertheless, I attribute a major part of my success to TTP.
