E-GMAT - Quant online RECOMMENED!!

Last year, I took GMAT and got 550 points but I need higher scores in both parts, quant and verbal. Therefore, I searched the online courses in the internet and found some interesting courses. After I tried those courses in free trial, I decided to subscribed e-gmat and it is worth trying.

My favorite part in E-GMAT is its new platform . It is very convenient and friendly-user because it is easy to track what you have learned. It tells how much time you have spend on each sections and after study in each sections, there are some applications, which are in gmat-like style to test whether you totally understand the lessons and apply to gmat or not.
In addition, E-GMAT provides a very strong concept of each parts from the foundation to advanced level. Before I took the courses, I lacked some basic concepts and made me miss some points on the tricky questions. This course enables me to close this gap and to get the higher scores.
Finally, the scholaranium in the course gives me lots of practices to get used to gmat questions and let me see what sections are my weakness or strength.

Course Target Test Prep Flexible Prep

When selecting a course, I was looking for one that would allow me to study at my own pace rather than having to attend a class. I needed the flexibility to move as quickly as possible rather than waiting around for a class session once a week.

There were a number of things I particularly enjoyed about TTP, including the learning analytics, which allowed me to review my studies at a higher level to see where I had gaps. I also found the end of chapter quizzes to be helpful in determining what I needed to review or didn't understand in the first pass of study.

Overall, it was really nicely organized and was really helpful in improving my quant score efficiently.

After studying using on my own and using other resources, my quant score was topping out around Q45/46. While I had heard of TTP through various online forums, it wasn't until a friend of mine told me her success that I decided to take the plunge.

Scott, Jeff, and team have done an amazing job creating this quant course. Target Test Prep breaks down the quant section into very small and digestible topics with detailed explanations and examples. TTP also does a great job highlighting the traps that you are likely to run into on the actual GMAT.

Additionally, there are quizzes of varying difficulty (easy, medium, hard) for each topic to test your understanding. The platform provides detailed summary statistics for these quizzes, which I found very helpful in identifying where my weaknesses were.

In the end, TTP helped me raise my score to Q49 on the actual GMAT. Highly recommend!

“How much time is required to prepare for GMAT”. with this question in mind I started my preparation for GMAT. I asked friends and they told me just one Month maximum is required that too if you are weak in English. I took their suggestion and started with MGMAT Sentence Correction, I tried to assimilate the jargons of English grammar. Then I gave MGMAT mocks and did not do well in the exam. I found that although I knew the rules of grammar , I was clueless about the applying it on the question. About CR and RC, I was totally clueless and all options seems to be correct for me. Then one of my friend recommended me to go through the free session of E-Gmat. I studied all the free session of verbal, and really liked their methodlogy of teaching. I, then enrolled for the verbal online e-gmat course. I liked the course because firstly it was in audio visual form, which makes my mind fully occupied, and Secondly course has quizzes after each concepts. Moreover, this course taught me to breakdown the sentence in to parts and then identify the errors . This approach initially took took time but then with practice it got internalized. Few of the concepts of modifier such as Verb-ing , Verb-ed modifier and Noun + Noun modifier are clearly explained in this course. I cemented my most of the concepts of grammar through this course.
Coming to the RC and CR, this course taught me “How to approach each type of CR and RC questions and how to eliminate each answer”. I learnt the reading strategy and which helped me to improve my comprehensions of passage.
Scholaranium is verbal quiz bank of E-gmat which comes along with the verbal online. Scholaranium quizzes has advance analytics which helped me to know my weak areas and through this I practiced more questions in my weak areas. Questions in Scholaranium are quite similar to the GMAT which helped me to train my mind for the GMAT like test.

If you If you want a prep service/ course that helps you drill inn the basics and fundamentals of GMAT Quant, TTP is the best out there! I used Magoosh and MGMAT in preparation for my first GMAT (700, Q46, V40) and although they are good i did not feel that i mastered the fundamentals at a level that enabled me to fully tackle the hardest problems with confidence. After an intensive month of TTP and 1700 practice questions (!) later i knew that the only thing between me and a high score in quant was seeing the "2min" solution and fully understanding the question, not silly arithmetic mistakes, poor formulation of my algebraic equations or uncertainty when tackling inequalities and scientific notations. It was no longer a question about basic skills, but actual knowledge and fully understanding the question. The second time around i felt confident in the quant section and quickly realized that i did OK just based on the difficulty of the questions in front of me, i screwed up pacing a bit (my inability to quit and give up haunts me) but still managed to secure a Q49 for a 740 total (V42). I would recommend TTP to anyone just starting their prep and who wants to do Quant the right way! A special thank you to Scott at TTP for providing friendly and enthusiastic customer service!

I subscribed to E-gmat Verbal online course and I must say that it was totally worth every penny.
I was not good at the verbal section. I attended the free SC and RC sessions by e-GMAT and did not think twice to order the Verbal course, since verbal was my pain area. And as per the plan suggested in e-GMAT, I started with SC.

I would like to de-brief about few of the features of the course:
1. The scholaranium feature is very helpful to identify weaknesses.
2. Course materials are well structured from a learning perspective.
3. Enough questions available for practice that are reflective of GMAT style questions
4. Additional resources are research question to questions: e-GMAT forum, question section on each practice question.
5. E-gmat gives free weekly webinars for on different topics.
6. They respond almost within a day on your queries or doubts.

Till now my experience has been great with the E-gmat.

This was my first time using any GMNAT Prep Course and to improve upon my Verbal I chose the e-gmat's Verbal Live Prep. First off - their customer service is very fast and a total delight. Now about the course : I am the kind of student who likes to study with the fundamentals. I am not one to memorize a list of tips and tricks. E-GMAT aligned really well with my study pattern as it goes into the deepest concepts and spends time on them. Then there are practice tests immediately to apply the concepts. It is the right kind of learning for students like me. While I have enrolled for the class last minute, I was able to improve my Verbal scores to reach V34 on exam day. This was very satisfying , however I know that I have to work even harder for my next attempt and I have chosen to continue with e-gmat.

I am a typical Indian engineer with strong Quant. Hence, I started my GMAT prep considering no need of any support from any external resources. Because from past many years I was not in touch with quant prep, I was falling in the test makers traps again and again, One of my friend recommended to go with e-Gmat Courses. In which the style of learning I experienced is so good. eGMAT courses don’t teach you tips, tricks or shortcuts, instead the courses teach you the simplest ways of understanding and tackling each quant question. This made me confident to solve any kind of question that comes in my way.

The Course is categorized into 5 sub-sections: Number Properties, Algebra, Geometry, Word Problems and Advanced Topics. Each sub-section has a lot of content and study material along with a lot of Practice and Application Files.

The Scholaranium is where you can take customized quizzes and is a great tool and the way it considers the candidate's performance and does all the planning for the candidate is a big help. It is easy-to-use, versatile and flexible. Now, I am confident that I will be able to hit Q50 or above. It was Q47 in my last attempt.

I would strongly recommend eGMAT online courses. The program is interactive and focuses on your weaknesses, and comes with the Scholaranium which evaluates your strengths and weaknesses. The Support team is very responsive and helpful and give prompt response for all queries.

Addition to this, I am now practicing in Scholaranium along with GMAT Club Tests. Hope I will Achieve my target of Q51 this time and overall Score of >700. Then I will meet all of you with my complete debrief.

As a satisfied student of the e-GMAT Live Prep, I shall provide an extremely honest and unbiased review of the course.

Firstly, e-GMAT is one of the very few Test Prep companies to have an absolute command the GMAT content and curriculum. The course structure is extremely GMAT-specific, avoiding unnecessary emphasis on redundant topics not tested on the GMAT. Each concept is explained with absolute clarity with precise examples. Concept files are immediately followed by practice files to cement the understanding of concepts. The course tremendously focuses on concept clarity rather than grammar overdose. Concept and sample question explanations are precise and easy to understand. Additionally, e-GMAT empathizes on simple strategies and steps to approach each question type; most of the strategies are 3 to 5 steps rather than the confusing 7 to 10 steps approaches offered by other test prep companies.

Secondly, the learning framework is lucid, leaving students satisfied after every session. The course is meticulously designed to be highly user friendly, student spending hours on the course without having a feeling of overburden. Without going into every nitty gritty details of the course, I would say that e-GMAT is THE MOST user friendly course available, providing students with a plethora of options to navigate through the curriculum.

Thirdly, the instructors are champions in Verbal, possessing in-depth knowledge of each Verbal concept of SC, RC, and CR. Live Prep sessions are student-friendly and the instructors make it a point to address every query. Avoiding any pedagogue approach, Instructors teach in simple, lucid, and precise manner. The focus the live sessions is to cement concept nuances and discuss advanced concepts, concepts that would differentiate between V35 and V42/45. Advanced concepts are clearly explained with simple examples in Live Prep sessions.

Lastly, the support team at e-GMAT is extremely cordial and understanding. All issues are quickly resolved within 24 hours. I believe e-GMAT’s core value puts students’ priority at its focus, something that is strongly reflected in the e-GMAT support team.

e-GMAT Verbal Live Prep is a must for every non-native English speaker. I highly recommend the course to all prospective GMAT test takers. I would sincerely thank the entire team of e-GMAT for shaping the test preparation of millions of GMAT test takers like me.
