I registered for e-gmat’s VLP course in early 2015. I had already registered for the free trial and went through all the videos and it didn’t take me long to register for the complete course.
The eGMAT’s 3 step approach to SC and pre-thinking in CR are a blast.
Earlier in CR Qs I used to jump directly on to the options in order to evaluate the choices. This method took more time and my accuracy did not improve beyond 70%. Then I attended Rajat’s pre-thinking session and tried to incorporate the falsification method in CR Qs. To my utter surprise not only my accuracy improved but also the time required to tackle the Q decreased. Pre-thinking in CR’s helps you to understand the core of the argument, thereby making it easier to evaluate the answer choices.
The importance of the meaning in SC Q’s and the 3 step approach is one of the best methods I have come across. My SC strike rate has increased and now I am more confident while marking the answers.
Moreover, the Scholaranium – a quiz platform which has been launched recently, gives you the ability to measure your weaknesses in different areas and provides you with lots a practice questions that too with awesome explanations.
Finally, the live sessions, which are conducted by their superb faculty, provide you with great insights on common traps. All the SC live sessions and CR pre thinking session were an eye opener for me.
I would highly recommend the verbal course to anyone who wants to crack verbal in GMAT.
This goes without saying - eGMAT’s verbal course is THE only weapon to win the battle.

I am a current E-GMAT student and thought that giving other current students info on this great course would help them make decisions on their verbal partner. I started out at V21 on my diagnostic in Feb 2015 but am glad to report that through enrolling in the E-GMAT Verbal Live Prep, I have tremendously improved and am now consistently scoring V40-V41. The course is well structured, with Sentence Correction, Critical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension concepts unmatched in the industry.

The concepts are easy to understand especially for non-natives like me. The instructors, Meghna, Neeti, Rajat, Payal, Japinder are all awesome and avail all their time to answer students' doubts. The introduction of Scholaranium this year was the best the company did. You can gauge your weeknesses and make strides to improve. The sessions are very well organised and are easy to follow. The session prerequisites give a student a sense of what to expect in the interactive live session.

I would unconditionally refer any student to E-GMAT Verbal Live Prep Course for help in Verbal.

I have been amazed by the excellence of the GMAT Quant Course by E-GMAT so I thought of giving a review so that I can help other students in my situation. I was an average guy in Quant so I needed a course that would provide foundation concepts needed in developing proficiency in Quant. I went for the E-GMAT free trial and I didn't take time before I decided to enroll in the full E-GMAT Quant Course. This is surely one of the best decisions I have taken with respect to my studies.

The Live sessions conducted by excellent tutors. The concepts are now a cake walk for me. I have seen a huge improvement on my mocks, from low Q40s to Q48/Q49. After every section, the course links with OG Guides for cementing the concepts. I found this very helpful.

The instructors are available 24-7 to answer any student doubt. I will not hesitate to recommend E-GMAT Quant Live to any student having any challenge in Quant.

What are you waiting for. Go ahead and try it. You can try the free Number Properties Live session and see how E-GMAT does it.

Thanks

I registered for e-gmat in early 2015. This course was recommended to me by a friend after I told him about my consistent low verbal score mock tests. On his recommendation, I registered for the free trial and went through all the videos and it didn’t take me long to register for the complete course. Here are a few advantages of the course:
• Can be used anytime and anywhere.
• Definite strategy to solve different question types
• Emphasis on understanding the meaning of the sentence and sentence structure in SC question. Moreover, OG SC question solutions and articles written for SC are very helpful
• Pre thinking approach for CR questions helps to understand the argument better
• Lots of practice question and access to gmat club tests
In addition, eGMAT team provided me an extension (free of charge) as I was unable to finish the course in time. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to score well on gmat verbal. All the best with your preparation!

I took the eGMAT verbal online course as I wanted to improve my verbal scores. I personally feel that eGMAT verbal is the most comprehensive and effective online learning tool. The course is designed in such a way that it covers all kind of concept from where questions can be asked in a GMAT exam. So being a Non Native speaker it helped me with to start with basics and build foundation which is must for prep. Also the tutorial is organized in a manner to clearly marks the flow in which one should approach his learning. I believe this is the best online tutorial and the best option for the one's who cannot attend live sessions and who wish to improve their GMAT scores.

E-GMAT Verbal Live Prep - My Experience so far

Before I took this class I was struggling to find a solid approach to best attack the GMAT. Part of my problem was finding the right materials. I wont say that the other materials I bought were a waste, but I did not use them much after I started using the E-GMAT materials.
The on-demand course is great for anyone who is able to motivate themselves to study independently. The amount of time I have put so far comes very close to 100, so definitely make sure you're okay with putting 2 - 3 hours in per night before signing up. If you do sign up, you'll find that this course is extremely engaging, fun, and effective. The virtual instructors have somewhat quirky personalities that make it easy to remember the GMAT lessons long after you finish the course. E-GMAT teaches you tactics of how to approach all types of problems to maximize efficiency on test day. Furthermore, it really goes into a lot of detail about question types and which ones really matter (in terms of your score) and which ones likely count for very little.
I am yet to take the GMAT and feel will write a detailed review once I am done taking it. But I have to say that overall, this course gives you just about everything you would get from a live course. You get all the recorded videos and skillbuilder exercises to watch whenever you want. It fits in much better to my hectic schedule versus having to be available for a scheduled class time. The course in general is extremely thorough and really focuses on teaching you how to think like the GMAT test makers. It really opened my eyes to the strategy that is required to do well on this test instead of just studying and memorizing content. I would recommend any version of this course through E-GMAT to those looking for a GMAT Prep course.

E-GMAT Quant Live Prep - My experience so far

I literally studied for the GMAT for over a year. I originally signed up for two big test prep company (Veritas Prep GMAT and Manhattan GMAT) late in 2014 and took the full live courses. I went to every session and tried to follow all the homework, but didn't feel like their courses presented the most appropriate learning technique for me. They were very formulaic and the concepts weren't breaking through for me. Nothing against my Veritas instructor (he was excellent), I just felt like the group classes weren't the best learning environment for me as everyone in the class was at very different stages/ability levels at the time. In January of 2014 I scored a 590 on my first attempt. Although not bad for a first attempt, I knew that this score wasn't really good enough to get into any of my dream schools in the top-15. While my verbal was in the 70%, my quant was really weak only in the 50th percentile range.

Around the same time, I heard about e-GMAT through a good friend of mine. He raved about the course so I decided to take the plunge and give it a shot as a sort of a last resort (I had already spent a lot of money on GMAT Prep so I was very skeptical). I signed up in January 2014 and have used E-gmat for approximately 1 months so far.

The E-GMAT Quant modules literally changed everything for me! I finally started to understand how to approach and ATTACK problems. I finally got the idea that I needed to write everything on the pad and stop trying to do Math in my head.
The quant lessons are engaging, and have helped me truly understand what the GMAT is designed to assess - higher order thinking. Learning how and why the GMAT is a completely different ball game is absolutely critical to scoring well. The study materials really helped me understand the concepts and think like the test maker. I reviewed the lesson books many times after the course as I prepared for the exam.

The online format (Live Prep) far exceeded my expectations with its online chat panel. Another instructor is online to help out with queries if the main instructor doesn't have time to answer them all. Surprisingly, there was much more participation than a normal classroom and I learned as much from the other students as I did from the instructor. The flexibility was another huge plus- being able to watch it from home or watch a recorded version if I miss the class was super helpful as I have a demanding job.

E-GMAT is the complete package and overall, far exceeded my expectations and what I love most is that the instructors are genuinely interested in the students' progress and experience. I received a number of follow-up emails during the course to see how I was tracking. All this being said, I am yet to take the GMAT which I have scheduled in a month from now – so a lot of work still needs to be done. I will post a detailed review once I am done taking the GMAT.

I had given my GMAT once in July, 2013, in which i scored 550/800. This score demotivated me so much that i gave up the whole idea of MBA and just focused on my job. However, after 2 years, i decided to give wings to my MBA dreams once again. So after doing several cost+reviews analysis, i signed up with e-GMAT.

e-GMAT is the indeed the best score for non natives. The course is beautifully structured, beginning with basic topics and gradually moving the advanced ones with lots of practice examples. Moreover, the audio+visual combination helps you to retain things for a longer time compared to plain books. The e-GMAT SC 3-step process not only helps you to learn about identifying errors and correcting them but also helps you to understand as to why a particular choice is right or wrong. The CR prethinking step is a very crucial step for your success on the CR section and e-GMAT helps you master this step perfectly. All in all, i would say that it is indeed a critical component for your GMAT preparation.

As of now, i have been consistently scoring 670-680 in my mock exams, which is 120 points well above my first GMAT attempt. My GMAT is scheduled on 13th August, and hopefully, i achieve my target score this time. I shall share my detailed GMAT experience once i am done with it.

Thank you & Good luck!
