I reached out to mbaMission quite late in the process, post Round 1 deadlines for US MBA schools. At the time, I had short-listed my MBA schools, and knew my first choice was INSEAD vs Tuck vs LBS. From the first conversation with Jen, I could tell she was very genuine and supportive. I was also very impressed with her positive vibes and extensive knowledge in MBA admissions. I was extremely worried because I was an older candidate and had not secured a decent GMAT score at the time. She patiently analysed my strengths and weaknesses and saw something special about me that I had never noticed, which resulted in placing me in an excellent position for application. I worked with Harshad for my MBA applications to Columbia, NYU and Cornell. Unfortunately, I had a low budget, so I opted for a 4-hour package to review essays, CV and 30 minutes for a mock interview.

Harshad always demonstrated professionalism, and it is clear why he is one of the top-ranked MBA advisors all over the world. Moreover, even if we went overtime during our meetings, he never asked me to pay extra and continued to reply to my emails when I had a little doubt to clear.

Although I wasn’t accepted that time, Harold kept encouraging me to reapply the following year. I almost gave up, but he believed in me more than I believed in myself, and he was always following up, brainstorming, and suggesting alternative approaches. Based on my inputs (age, workload, location, career goals), he advised me to shift strategies: to consider an Executive MBA and take the Executive Assessment instead of the GMAT.
