Here is what you will get with e-GMAT:
I just started taking this course and have already gained confidence in solving CR and SC questions. I see a drastic improvement in my approach to attack these questions and the logical way taught in e-GMAT SC is beyond comparison in my view. The course enables you to systematically handle these questions, which is more like what you do for any logical problem rather than just memorizing set of rules. The biggest advantage is the focus on step by step process for cracking down a complex problem, which makes your job easier. I recommend this course to everyone. All the best!
I registered for the e-gmat course in December'14 after completing the GMAT in Dec'14. I was not happy with my score, and decided to sign up. Prior to this, I went with the different course. I see a difference between e-gmat and Others. Personally, I feel that e-gmat is more detailed in teaching both Quant and Verbal. It teaches you the application, not just the rules. I can't comment on Word problems yet, as I just missed the session on word problems. The live sessions are great. Payal does a great job answering questions and going through the content. I am glad I found the course. I'm already seeing an improvement in my verbal accuracy. Thanks to e-gmat! My next GMAT exam is four weeks away, I'll continue to spend time going through their content!
The course is very well structured and makes you think logically even while reading the question.
I am still preparing for the exam, and can already see consuming lesser time in even understanding the question.
Number properties approach is all-together explained in so simple and basic format that it has started to look like a piece of cake.
I Found it really very useful. It was regular like the Princeton courses. I wish i get a more practice questions not only from official guide but from other books too. I have practised the Official guide twice, so i am aware of the answers well.
Overall, other the above suggestion, i am able to get completely thorough with the course. The Sentence correction section was very simple and understanding. The Reading Comphrension was understanding but expected more analysis on it. The most interesting to me is the critical reasoning section. I really had interesting topics while going through the section. As told earlier, the practice questions are from the same official guide which i have already practised a couple of times.
Dear All,
I have used the services of eGMAT through their Verbal Live Prep Program. Verbal Live Prep Program is one of the world's most comprehensive prep program for the GMAT prep.
Before taking the Verbal Live Prep Program, I had written the GMAT once. Now, looking back to how prepared or rather under-prepared I was to tackle the Verbal Section of the GMAT, I am not surprised that I had not prepared well for my first attempt.
Specifically, the Verbal Live Prep Program focuses on building strong concepts or fundamentals in the beginning of the course. The regular webinars encourage one to practice well and to overcome conceptual challenges that one may be facing. There is a strong focus on following the eGMAT process, which is the key to scoring high on the actual GMAT.
The latest product, Scholaranium is going to be the game changer for the test prep industry. Rajat's focus on assessing one's ability pays rich dividends when it comes to focusing on specific areas of improvement.
Overall, the Verbal Live Prep Program is highly recommended.
I took up E-GMAT live prep as suggested by my friend who had opted it before and succeeded to score 720 on GMAT. I registered the course in september 2014. Since then it has been a great help to boost my confidence in GMAT. The live sessions and interaction with the lecturers has been of great aid!!
The section-wise videos provide a deep insight if how to tackle a question and will provide suitable techniques to solve the questions. The lectures, which are conducted by professionals go hand in hand with the section-wise tutorials and give a complete explanation to all the concepts.
I will suggest e-gmat live prep to those who have an zeal to improve their GMAT english scores drastically.
by taking gmat course at e-gmat, i have improved my score at least 50 points by only focusing only on Sc Cr And Rc, the content is very usefull with many videos in various subjects.
Following exact instructions and attending the lessons, and doing all the quizes automatically your score will be improved.
SC learning helps me in RC as well, in which i can use the rules in analyzing rc articles.
IR section is pretty good, seperating each question type and practice on each dependently.
Following AWA instructions, you can handle AWA easily.
Thanks for e- gmat, it's worth to spend less money into valuable course
I have been subscriber of e-gmat's all the course offerings: GMAT Verbal, Verbal Live, Quant and Quant Live prep.
The courses are very comprehensive and come up with great quality content. E-gmat provides you with step by step - methodological approach for solving GMAT problems.
I thoroughly enjoyed the interactive atmosphere that Verbal Live Prep course offers. Live sessions not only helped me clarify my doubts but also were much useful in getting a deeper understanding of the topics. E-gmat instructors tackle some of most difficult problems in these live sessions and explains you a step by step method to deal with such problems.
E-gmat's methodological approach to solving verbal problems (pre-thinking) has helped me approach the problems in more systematic way and save time solving even some of the most complicated SC and CR questions.
This is my first ever review, so kindly pardon me if its not as per forum rules. I started using e-gmat in November for my GMAT prep. I plan to go for MFE in 2017.I feel e-Gmat is the best investment I have made so far. For verbal its better than any book that I have come across and I have read quite a few. I feel my sentence correction skills have improved considerably and now I can tackle most difficult questions with ease. I recommend everyone to use this to learn the rules & practice OG questions to ace the verbal section. Although I still need to go through the Reading Comprehension section but seeing SC & CR I am pretty sure that its the best bet.
I do recommend e-GMAT Quant course to anyone with the score lower than Q51 :). I've got Q48 from the first try, but I still decided to get the e-GMAT Quant to help me to improve my score. I really find it very helpful, especially Live sessions. I think I would spent again the same amount of money for live sessions only. Japinder and Krishna are two great teachers/coaches, they make you think a bit different in terms of GMAT. They will help you to simplify the most complex looking tasks to very simple and easy solving one. I'm glad I bought the course and hope to get a better score next time!
I started my preparations an year back. I had OG 12 edition with me and i was looking for an online course specifically for Verbal section. Being an engineer i backed myself in regards to mathematics portion. I came across few options and decided to go with e-GMAT verbal Live prep course.
I would like to state my observations regarding the course:
1) Simplicity: The language with which the course has been explained throughout is easy to understand. Its well paced and balanced.
2) Structure: Entire portion of Verbal in GMAT is segmented nicely into little chunks, thereby making it easy for anyone to gauge the course level and one's standing at it.
3) Complete Coverage: I was particularly impressed by noticing that if i complete the course as its designed,i would not miss out on any concept. The course entails entire syllabus divided into little chunks. for example- The third topic in e GMAT SC course is Subject Verb agreement. the SV sections consists of-
a) SV- Makes sense
b) SV-Agree in number
c) SV-Always singular subjects
d) SV-Words that change number
e) SV- Concept Quiz
f) SV- Application File
g) SV- Practice File
h) SV- OG Quiz
One can easily make out the sheer length and breadth e-GMAT course covers.
4) OG Solved in Detail- All the questions of Official guide(more than 400) have been solved in the course with detailed explanation. This means if i apologize for stating the obvious- if you solve e GMAT verbal Live prep questions you will have automatically solved OG.
5) Practice Tests: Sheer number of practice tests is something which stands out. There is a practice test at the end of every topic.
6) Significant Increase in verbal scores of GMAT practice test:
My GMATPrep1 score-640
CAT1 score-620
after almost an year of using the material the scores:
GMATPrep2 - 700
CAT2 score- 690
I am still in pursuit of a good GMAT score. My test date is in a months time.
Hope this post helps!
