Here is what you will get with e-GMAT:
As an Indian student, I was quite confident about quant. But, when I started the GMAT preparation, I came to know that it's not as simple as I had considered.
Though my fundamentals are clear, still I was lagging in many sections. So, I decided to join e-gmat quant.
e-mat has well defined course content and new concept of presentation that gives me confidence in the advanced and hard questions. They cover all kind of concept and questions
(easy to hard) which built up my confidence. Course content having lots of practice questions and much more.
So, I really recommend this course to every gmat students.
I took my GMAT ( 2nd attempt) and I got a 710. Q-50, V-37.There maybe many people who score much better in verbal than what I have got, but I started my GMAT journey with V25. I have come a long way from knowing nothing about SC ( I used to guess, Used to eliminate answers thinking " this choice doesn't sounds good") to having an acurracy of around 90%. I used to think that CR was my strong section with accuracy of around 60% ( cos as compared to SC I could at least figure out what was happening in CR). Thankfully now I have got the hang of right approach- "pre -thinking". I owe this to egmat, for making Verbal interesting for a person like me ( before egmat I never believed verbal can be logical, I thought it was more of mugging up grammar and answering random questions). IR score also improved from 5 to 8. I just followed egmat stuff as bible. Never looked for any explanation from any other source.
Thanks a lot to the whole team for helping me out with everything. You people have certainly made verbal easy for non native
The egmat verbal live prep is a fantastic course for those who are facing problems in verbal section of GMAT.The concepts are presented in a simple and brief way.The 3 step process for sentence correction is a boon which will shoot your score up and up..
The CR and RC concepts are very useful not only in concept building but also in score improving. The workshops are the added advantages to measure one's status of improvement. The live sessions are also very informative and help us to analyse our mocks and not to repeat mistakes in the future tests..
Thanks Egmat team.. :)
Probably, I belong to the first few people who registered for this course.
Their approach towards teaching us the concepts was simply amazing. They always motivate us to solve a given problem in a right way.
Interaction with the instructor and the fellow students during the session was great.
Pre-session study work is provided so as to get a hold of the basic concepts before joining the live session. Also, the study material provided by them comes in very handy.
This course will be of definite help to get better at the concepts and also for the best possible score in quant.
E-gmat verbal live prep really helps in achieving target score and confidence to score higher in GMAT verbal. In my first mocks i was getting a score of 19 in verbal,This was really a painful for a guy targeting a good business school.Through one month of dedicated preparation along with E-GMAT verbal course helped me lot in getting confidence in GMAT verbal,Now i am tuning to get above V30 in mocks, and i am sure i will be able to get score above V40 with further dedicated preparation.I guarantee you this is the best available course in the market especially for non-natives.
E-GMAT team i am really thankful for you...
Hope this review will be helpful for GMAT test takers
When I started with my preparations for GMAT, I enrolled for a free trial version of e-GMAT. There I got a chance to attend a webinar by Rajat. He talked about the strategy to tackle the GMAT. This was the turning point for me because never before has anyone described this so perfectly. I immediately purchased the Verbal Live Prep course from e-GMAT.
I am a not native English Speaker so I struggled with the grammar . Sentence Correction was a nightmare for me. I have previously read the books from many reputed GMAT prep companies. But the problem was that all of them focused on the rules and didn't gave importance on their applications.
GMAT is all about the application of the concepts and this is what taught at e-GMAT. The concepts told by Rajat, Payal and Shraddha were simply superb. The fear to handle a Sentence Correction is now no more and I try to handle the questions in a logical way while understanding the meaning.
The Verbal Live Prep course offers not only the concepts for SC, CR and RC but also gives the chance to attend the live
workshops. This is an amazing course which I would like to recommend for all serious GMAT takers who are facing difficulty with the Verbal Section.
Believe me this is the one stop place to end all your worries. Just go for it !!!
This is the first time I have been preparing for GMAT and is planning to take the exam by end of April 2015. Being a non native speaker I always felt verbal as the area where I need to work extra hard to get a decent score in GMAT. To my help came the eGMAT Verbal Live Preparation course, very well designed, specially its sentence correction section is really good. The course exercises are very scientifically designed gradually moving from a below average question set to higher difficulty levels. I am hoping to work all the exercises thoroughly and write the GMAT for my desired score. I hope to come back and update my GMAT score of my dreams. Wish me luck. Thank you.
I started to depend on e-gmat verbal live course which was really invaluable. E-gmat has complemented its verbal live course with the math live course. I registered in one of the early released batches. It never disappointed me at all. The math course is directed to people who want to achieve 700+. The course is highly organized in categorized sectors. Each sector contains diagnostic quiz, explanation of the element and post quiz with high quality problems. The e-gmat teaches always proven path that I need to follow to answer the questions precisely. The live sessions are the real power and no one can ignore the highly sophisticated problems in each section. The e-gmat team provides supports through its forum where their experts can clarify ambiguous issues. Now I can study all my gmat from one source.
I’m going to have my exam after 2 months and I wish to score above 700. I wish that egmat could add Quant e-scholar to have high quality problem practice as the e-scholar verbal section.
I consider egmat my partner in my success to go to my dream school next year.
I have not been one of the best test takers in my entire life and am also stubborn when it comes to studying. So I took GMAT 3 times and finally I decided to get some serious help.
As a non-native, I struggled a lot with verbal and miraculously I found e-gmat. Very well-explained for someone like me and just by going through the online contents, I was already able to feel that improvement within me without evening taking a mock test.
I have not taken the actual GMAT after taking this course, but in my latest CAT, I got 680(Q48 V35), which was more than 100 points improvement.
Thank you, e-gmat!
I am a non-native english speaker (Indian Engineer) and was struggling to cross V35 in GMAT for quite some time. I went through various prep materials to understand the SC rules and CR question types but I still could not use my knowledge effectively during the exam. I was facing a problem with application of concepts in a time constrained setting.
I learnt about e-GMAT through a friend and decided to try the free trial. I really liked the focus on the process of solving the question in addition to the fundamental concepts. The 3 step SC method and the pre-thinking process for CR helped me standardize my approach to solving verbal questions. My verbal accuracy has increased from 60-70% to 85-90% and I am now consistently hitting above V40 in Mocks.
I would definitely recommend e-GMAT for those who are unable to hit their target score despite knowing the basics.
Hi, How long is the course for? I hear they also guarantee a 4 point improvement. Is there any catch?
