TTP was recommended to me by a friend. I spent around 3 months on the website using the software. I also complemented my study with private lessons with Scott and Jeff.
The software and tutors are excellent and I highly recommend them.
I don't have a quant background and received 400 on my first GMAT practice exam. In the end I received a 710. Well worth it.
I initially studied with Manhattan. The self-study option I chose was useful for Verbal but not for Quant. TTP provided me with the intensive and comprehensive syllabus and drills to achieve the score I was after.

I used TTP program for two months. I think it is one of the most comprehensive courses in Quant. When I took my diagnostic exam and found my weak areas were algebra, geometry and rate problems, I used tried their one week trail for US$1. I was able to improve my score from late 20s, early 30s to 40+. I have to mention though that I used only 5% of their practice sections. These are critical to a great score.

The only downside I see with the amazing, comprehensive course is that it uses only traditional approach. To breeze through quant section you need to know alternate approaches like choosing smart numbers, backsolving, estimation and other ways of solving problems. I found them in @Bunuel's solutions, MGMAT books etc.

I would highly recommend this course in conjunction with GMAT club tests/questions.

I can’t fully explain why Target Test Prep is truly amazing without telling my story because I feel that I will sound generic and Target Test Prep will seem similar to other programs, whereas the details made the difference.

After trying almost every prep program under the sun, I found the answers to my quant problems (pun intended) in Target Test Prep.

To start my GMAT studies, I took a Manhattan in-person class in 2014, but I never attempted the official GMAT. At the start of 2017, I was committed to taking the GMAT and started sessions with one Manhattan tutor, and then another Manhattan tutor, but I wasn’t seeing much progress, and I was uneasy about the lack of direction with my study plan.

While studying for the first official test, I also participated in Target Test Prep’s free Tuesday webinars, which I found via Forte Forum emails (I am a 2017 Forte MBA Launcher). I really enjoyed these webinars and the Target Test Prep instructor, Jeff Miller.

After my 630, I reached out to Jeff because I knew something was not clicking with my current Manhattan tutor/study plan. Jeff listened to my concerns and offered to squeeze me in for a session before my second official test, which was scheduled for two weeks after my first. I declined, due to the time constraint, but I knew that Jeff would be my first call if things did not go well.

APRIL 2017: OFFICIAL GMAT TEST 2

Things did not go well. In the cab home, I had Jeff on the phone and he told me that it was okay, that there is still plenty of time, and that we were going to make a plan.

Let me make this scenario clear: Jeff Miller, who was neither my tutor, nor had he received a dollar from me, graciously coached me on my previous studying and exam experiences, generously reached out to me on the day of my test to give me encouragement, and reassured me on my cab ride home. I was already impressed with his webinars, but now it was clear that he was going to be a staple of my support system. If you’re like me, you need a team, and I felt like Jeff was that guy on my sideline screaming “coach put me in!”

Up until this point, I had reframed from online tutoring because I incorrectly assumed that I needed the attention of an in-person tutor. If this is your concern, PLEASE believe that online tutors can be the same, if not better than in-person tutors. Jeff was extremely attentive, he created a personal connection right away, and the flexibility of online tutoring worked in my favor.

As a tutor, Jeff went above and beyond the call to duty. His goal was to always challenge me. During our sessions, I wanted to get every problem correct; it’s human nature. After a series of incorrect problems, when Jeff heard the frustration in my voice, he kindly reminded me that his purpose was to find the areas that I struggled with, exploit that weakness, build on it, and help me grow. It would be easy for me to ramble on about his intelligence and competence as a GMAT tutor. As I mentioned before, what made Jeff special as a tutor, was his personal touch, the fact that Jeff became one of my biggest cheerleaders and confidants.

Along with Jeff being an amazing tutor, TARGET TEST PREP WAS THE BEST QUANT PROGRAM. The program is rooted in an entirely online structure, which is not only convenient for the times that you didn’t want to carry the giant OG book, but also superior to programs who try to supplement methods of offline study. For me, this prep program wasn’t better than other online prep programs, it was better than ANY prep program.

The program provides questions, tracks answers, and analyzes performance for hundreds of GMAT-like problems. Many of the questions have brilliant and extremely helpful video solutions. The web interface of Target Test Prep is flawless. It is SO easy to use. Easy to follow, easy to learn, easy to practice, and easy to evaluate your performance. I highly recommend this program and came to lean on it throughout my studies for my next two tests.

Although this wasn’t much overall improvement, MY QUANT SCORE INCREASED 10 POINTS, proving the value of Target Test Prep. My verbal dropped six points, which killed my score. I made some poor verbal choices in my study prep, but eventually found the right path (through a recommendation from Jeff).

At this time, I couldn’t jump back into studying. A few days after my test I had set plans to go to Europe for two weeks. Compounded with the essays, applications, and recommendations that awaited my return, most of my go-to supporters advised me to either accept the score and move on, or decide when I returned in August. I’d like to pretend that I put the test on the back burner and held off on a decision, but the truth is that I talked Jeff that very night and told him that I knew I would take it again. He knew I would too.

When I got home from Europe I was so excited to start my essays. I tried to pick up GMAT studying, but I found that I was consumed with thoughts about my essays, and I couldn’t do both. The essays were fresh and new, and the GMAT was hard and sad. Underperforming on the test three times takes a toll on your soul. I say underperforming because from the time that I started studying with Target Test Prep in May to my last official test in October I had taken 8 practice tests, all of which I achieved a 700 – 740.

So, I had to make a plan to balance applications with studying. I would take August to do my essays, study for the GMAT in Sept and Oct, and take the test in late October. Let's all take a minute to laugh at that plan—HAHAHA—one month to write essays for the four round one schools that I was applying to. August quickly turned into September, and the essays were not done; I needed to figure out a new plan.

I waited until mid-September, when the essays lost their allure, and I had Jeff tutor me once a week to keep me steady with quant. In addition, I heavily relied on the Target Test Prep software to supplement his sessions and keep me entrenched in concepts. Jeff helped me focus on depth over breadth. It was better to master the bigger concepts than try to touch on every topic that my GMAT may or may not ask me. This advice made a huge impact.

I was under a pretty severe time crunch and needed to pick up my quant score. My score at the time (45) wasn’t bad, but I wanted to get to 50 and needed to move on from the GMAT to work on applications. I was growing frustrated with other resources, largely because I was answering problems out of a book rather than on a screen. Nothing I found seemed geared toward the kind of tailored help I needed. I began looking around for a tutor, which is how I got in touch with Jeff Miller from TTP.

Over the following weeks I went through the sections on the TTP site and did some private tutoring with Jeff. Both were invaluable to me. First of all, the chapter quizzes on the website, and the ability to make custom quizzes, enabled me to simulate the CAT experience and focus on areas in which I needed to improve. I could create custom quizzes comprised of only hard questions in the areas in which I needed to improve, and then review the solutions to those problems until I fully understood the concepts. Until signing up for this course, I simply hadn’t found anything with that level of depth. The ability to highlight sections in the course chapters and bookmark certain problems in the quizzes to review later was especially helpful.

The one-on-one tutoring with Jeff was incredible. He taught me plenty of tricks for complex problems in addition to general strategies which I was able to use on test day. Some of the wisdom he imparted was stuff I hadn’t heard anywhere, even after going through all the Manhattan Prep books and speaking with lots of other people studying for the test. Let me tell you, when a problem came up that I was able to answer in 10 seconds which would have taken 2 or 3 minutes otherwise, I was grateful I had invested in the tutoring. Jeff, in addition, has a response time which rarely exceeds 10 seconds. Not an exaggeration. He would literally text me at like 8PM on a Friday night to ask how my practice test went. Beyond improving my knowledge base and GMAT skillset, it was awesome just to be supported like that. Overall, I can’t recommend these guys enough. The tutoring and chapter quizzes were a huge reason I brought my score up as high as I did. Ended up with a 760, 50Q. Thanks guys!

As someone that had not taken any quantitative courses since high school (I placed out for undergrad), I knew that the Quant section of the GMAT was going to be a particular struggle for me. I began studying for the GMAT by taking a traditional in-person class for a month and a half. I realized that in-person courses were not for me, as I wasn't really being taught Quant just because someone spoke about the subject an hour or two a week. I was consistently receiving Quant scores in the low 30s, likely because I was missing the deeper, fundamental frameworks that would allow me to tackle math again with the most basic of skillsets. It was a waste of money and time. I needed another way to prepare...and that's when I was recommended to try TTP for a week trial.

At first, I wanted to the short-term approach to quickly wrap the test up in a month. He reasoned that real subject matter understanding would likely take at least 3-7 months to increase my Quant understanding from the level I was operating at, to my desired score. I didn't believe it at first, but he couldn't have been more correct.

TTP truly teaches you the foundations of GMAT math, and each subject/chapter builds upon the last. The online platform is completely easy and seamless, the material readable and digestible, and the quizzes (take them all!) are comprehensive for each subject. Excluding experimental questions, there were no questions on GMAT exams that I didn't have a clue how to answer -- I always at least knew the method of attack thanks to TTP. Also, there are amazing tools like bookmarking questions, making notes, on-site target analytics, custom tests, and more! This was truly invaluable to me, as the self-guided method of study is most fruitful for me because I can dive as deep into information as I need.

You begin to realize that difficult GMAT questions are actually a myriad of different math subjects that just have to be broken down into small pieces, step-by-step. TTP helped me to realize this. Eventually, the foundational rules, time-saving problem solving skills, and repetition of question types allowed me to go from seeing low 30s, to mid-high 40s consistently-- something that I barely knew would be possible for me!

There is no better Quant prep tool out here - and I sing TTP's praises every day. It's AFFORDABLE and THE BEST You WILL reach your quantitative goals as long as you follow the plan to the T.

I found TTP an excellent choice! I was able to improve my quant score from Q45 to Q49 after only 1 month.
I am a non-native English speaker, so I knew that the Quant score will be a key element of my application to B-schools.
I took the GMAT three times before arriving at TTP and I couldn't increase my quant score even I tried different online platforms and programs. However, TTP showed me new methods to solve the difficult PS question and focused my attention on the most important elements of each DS question.

The TTP Flexible Plan is hands down the best study option to ace the GMAT Quant section. I have tried books and online materials from almost every other company and none come close to comparing. TTP has study plans that keep you accountable and on track. Concepts are broken down to their core and each study section has tips and tricks embedded in them (these alone got me several questions correct on the exam). There are chapter tests with easy, medium, and hard questions options as well as custom tests where you can decide the difficulty and the time per question. This is hands down the best study materials out there. Do not waste your money on another product.

TTP is in my opinion the best Quant resource out there. Scott and Jeff are the gurus who put together this platform that teaches you all you need to master for scoring the highest score possible. The interface is clean and intuitive, allowing you to focus on what's most important: Learning the materials

Also, I found the personal tutoring session extremely valuable. They drill down on topics, making sure you can solve the problems on your own the most efficient way without sacrificing accuracy.

I have utilized Target Test Prep, Manhattan GMAT, Veritas Prep, Magoosh and EmpowerGMAT resources over the course of my study for the GMAT. Target Test Prep (TTP) is the single best resource that I used in order to prepare for the Quant section of the GMAT. It is a resource that helped me to crack the 700 barrier that had eluded me for a long time and is responsible for my score of 49 on the Quant section. I selected the flexible study option and in my opinion, this platform provided the highest value-to-price and ease of use of all the resources that I had utilized for my GMAT preparation. I began to see gains in my GMAT score after I used the TTP content and I would like to give it my highest recommendation. I feel very passionate about this recommendation of the TTP material, because preparation for the GMAT can be a very expensive undertaking that disenfranchises many qualified applicants. There are many companies that will try to extract every dollar that they can from committed students. That is not the case with Scott and Jeff (founders of TTP). There were several instances when they helped me to make a decision that was truly in my interest as opposed to their bottom line. They were incredibly responsive throughout the course of my study, and personally answered questions that I had along the way.
I hope this review will 1. Help you to see the benefits of the TTP platform. 2. Encourage you to keep your eye on your goal 3. Avoid some of the pitfalls that I made. Now back to TTP:

1. The content at TTP is comprehensive and is presented in a user friendly format. Even after review of much of the material from other companies, there were many gaps in knowledge that TTP filled for me. TTP helped me to not only understand a formula but also the derivation of that formula. Once I learned the why associated with some high level concepts, I realized that this knowledge was transferable to many different areas that came into play when reasoning through problems and data sufficiency questions.

2. TTP helped me to identify the efficient method of solving a problem as opposed to the elegant method. Early in my test prep, I was focused on the latter and wasted precious time during execution. As I used the TTP material, not only did I know how to answer questions, but I also knew how much time/effort would be associated with a particular solution method. This becomes very important when students venture into the 49-51 territory. The videos embedded in the lessons are golden and really help to reinforce the content that is delivered within each lesson.

3. The design of the TTP platform is very user friendly and helps students to allocate their time (a scarce resource) appropriately during study hours. The study plans provided structure and helped me to maintain consistency when life began to get in the way of my study. The built in analytics helped me tremendously. I was able to easily diagnose my strengths and my weaknesses and leverage the extensive TTP question bank to convert weaknesses into the strengths. I previously did not even have an error log, so I approached my study inefficiently. The design of the platform ushered built-in efficiency gains that I needed in order to boost my score.

4. Simply put, performance on easy, medium and advanced questions matters. Early on in my test prep I was so focused on advanced level questions that I was very prone to make silly mistakes on easy and medium level questions. This was largely because I didn’t spend any time practicing at these levels when I thought that I had mastered concepts. TTP helps you to ensure that you address all of these buckets with an extensive question bank listed by topic. I finally saw breakthroughs in my performance on advanced questions after I had read all of the material and perfected the easy and medium difficulty questions for each topic. Naturally as my quant proficiency improved, I began to see a higher proportion of advanced quant questions in my mock exams. I increased my accuracy at the advanced stage using TTP and felt that I had a chance to answer any and every question thrown my way correctly.

Initially, I believed that TTP would not provide any incremental knowledge to the knowledge base that I had gained from other platforms, so I questioned the value that TTP would provide. I was wrong. It is the single reason that I was able break the 700 barrier. Regardless of where you are in your test prep, Target test prep has content that will benefit you. You can use the material as the backbone of your preparation or as a complement to another resource. Either way, at a minimum you will gain a clear assessment of where you are and path forward to reaching your goals. As you embark upon your next steps - Stay Focused. Be Bold. As far as GMAT Quant is concerned, Target Test Prep is the way to go. IT IS FOOLPROOF. With only 2 months before my test deadline, I did the flex plan and completed EVERY SINGLE medium and hard test, hitting each accuracy goal as instructed. The lessons were very clear and extra detailed. Before TTP, I tried a few other test preps. TTP is by far better because they focus on teaching you the math to its core- ALL OF IT- as opposed to simply giving you the basics and smart strategy/tricks to answer the most common questions. I tried the latter way before TTP, and in the heat and anxiety of the quant section, you're better off KNOWING THE MATH rather than trying to finesse the GMAT by depending on tricks like testing the answers choices or guessing and checking--especially if you want an advanced score. With TTP, I mastered ALL the concepts and knew each one like the back of my hand, and was able to dive into each question, knowing EXACTLY what to do. In the end, the quant felt easy because I was very familiar with every problem that was thrown at me and trained to do it in 2 min or less. I haven't taken a math class in 8 years and TTP made me more than prepared for the GMAT, it gave me the confidence that I can handle the b-school quant. Note: Give yourself more than 2 months to complete this plan if you can. I did it in 2 months because it was crunch time and I had no choice, but I wish I started with TTP from the beginning of my GMAT journey, 6 months prior.
