Leveraging a number of resources/courses/practice material during my verbal preparation, I have to say the Scholaranium provides a unique and in-depth insight on areas of weakness and which areas I needed to focus on to improve my score. For someone who has spent a lot of money on preparation material, Scholaranium and e-gmat verbal course provide a great value for money. The power of Scholaranium comes from the information I received regarding my TAKT time, exactly which section (CR, RC or SC) is jeopardizing my score and most importantly which areas within the section that I need to work on (i.e. evaluation questions in CR, modifiers in SC or spending more/less than my average TAKT time). Prior to using Scholaranium, my verbal score fluctuated between 29, 32 and I was clueless as to why. Such fluctuations also undermined my confidence in my verbal ability. The concept of focusing on “ability” rather than “accuracy” is what sets Scholaranium apart from other prep material. I, also, found that attending the e-gmat free Strategy2 session a great way to focus my prep during the last 30 days prior to my test and would highly recommend anyone who is planning to take the test to attend this free session. Come test day, I scored v36 which is better than my performance during mocks.
When I started my preparation for GMAT I was surprised by the number of rules mentioned in different verbal books. To me the probability to remember so many rules and to apply them correctly during exam seemed really low. I still tried to learn as many rules as I could and practice. While taking mocks I observed that my verbal score fluctuated and there was no definite reason why! I remembered the rules but I was failing to skillfully apply them while answering. When I took my first test, I was hugely disappointed to see a 19 as my verbal score. I had done miserably in sentence correction. I tried to analyse myself and I understood that I was lacking the skill to apply the rules practically.I had attended few e-GMAT free webinars which I really enjoyed. The webinars were very efficient and thus after doing a little online research I decided to buy the e-GMAT verbal online pack. That was one of the smartest decision I made.
As I had already gone through a lot of study materials and rule books before, I didn't have to stress much on learning from scratch. The videos on different topics were really helpful. The examples stays in mind and the small quiz after the end of each topic helps in getting a practical approach to the learning. I allocated proper timings to each topic depending on the difficulty level and religiously followed it. At the same time I didn't rush myself, in case some topics required a little more effort than I anticipated, I would give myself that time. I tried to obtain a complete grasp of each topic and learn it's application before moving on to the next topic. Once I was done with all the video files I started using the scholaranium. Scholaranium played an important role in boosting my verbal score. The practice questions are at par with the official GMAT standard. Also it gives enough options to customize how we approach- we can take up questions from a particular category( i.e SC, CR or RC) or mix all three. I started taking small tests everyday and after each test I would analyse questions and note down all the errors I made along with example. Every week I would go through these error logs I made and slowly I observed that my mistakes reduced and I was able to spot the error as soon as I read the question. My approach towards attempting SC question changed and I could most of the time spot the problem upon reading the question itself. I solved every question from scholaranium. Within a few weeks of starting e-GMAT verbal online I noticed the difference in my score. My verbal score stabilized and I was more confident. My weakness was SC and hence I put in more effort in SC than on RC and CR, but the practice questions in the verbal scholaranium helped improve all the sections. The day before exam I felt really confident unlike my first attempt.
I would really thank e-GMAT for helping me achieve V-37, and I would recommend everyone struggling in verbal section to go for it. This platform is a huge learning tool and would surely help boosting your score.
I am currently preparing for Quantitative GMAT and as a reference guideline, I am using Scholaranium in order strong my concepts. The idea of Scholaranium is wonderful as it is available as per topics of interest as well as the detailed answers.
When I first started with E-GMAT process, i was not very confident with the GMAT questions but now with the continuous practice and going through the questions/answers session on regular basis, I am feeling much confident about the GMAT exam.
I hope that I will able to reach my goal of Good GMAT score with the help of EGMAT Scholaranium.

Additionally they also provide information regarding your timing which helps you gauge yourself with respect to others. They also help us in creating custom practice test which helps a lot when you want to perfect a particular topic or a sub topic. The choice between quiz mode or practice helps to first perfect the concept and then helps you in pacing yourself in that particular concept . Creating custom quiz of 75 minutes only RC & CR helps you in building your stamina as well .

: I started to prepare for GMAT an year before.For head-start Went to Time coaching center (a decent coaching center having branches in most places over India).I understood most of things taught there and prepared well for exam.A few days before exam I wrote a mock test and was shocked to see my performance especially in English section (530 with Q21).Heard from my cousin about e-GMAT course(He had got 690 and is into Boston University now :) ) .I cancelled my GMAT date and joined for e-GMAT. I.I improved my Verbal ability from 21 to 30 in 8 days .The best part of e-GMAT study strategy is Scholaranium .You have lots of knowledge but don't know how to use it ; then your knowledge is in vein .Scholaranium gives u many questions which will make you think according to GMAT style and way of asking questions.
Have not took my GMAT yet .Planing for last week of Feb but am sure I will get a good score.Crystal clear concepts taught on best possible way.I was not interested in an online class but now on wards I would go only for online classes .Hats off to e-GMAT way of teaching.
When I first started GMAT prep, I was at V29 (in my first mock test). Even after studying for a month from different sources my score didn't improve much and I was still at around V30-31 level. I decided to go with E-GMAT verbal and it was really helpful. In the last two months of my preparation scholaranium helped me evaluate my weak and strong areas. That helped me concentrate all my efforts on my weaknesses thus boosting my score to V40 and above level. The tool has an option to select type of question you want to practice. Based on the level I was at, I could select question from easy, medium and hard levels. This saved me time and increased efficiency and ability.
As most of non-natives engineers do, I started off with a Q48 in gmat prep. I wasn't exactly sure where my weaknesses are to pin point and to work on them. e-GMAT Scholaranium offers amazing set of practice questions on the verbal. It not only has good quality questions, but also it has a very good reporting structure to pin point your weaknesses. If you are looking for an additional set of practice questions and if you want to questions that are a replica of GMAT official questions, Scholaranium is a bible of all questions banks out there. it has good number of difficult questions to work on.

It not only has good quality questions, but also it has a very good reporting structure to pin point your weaknesses. This structure was really helpful for me. Me being a non-native, Official questions were not enough for practice. I needed extra practice on verbal questions to be more confident with my mocks. i would recommend e-GMAT Scholaranium to anyone who wants beef up their verbal ability.

Even though the verbal scholaranium is at the top of the game, the same expectations from the quant left me disappointed. In the questions classified, even though the questions provided for easy and medium are fine, the hard questions provided are lengthy rather than logical. It is a great disappointment to solve those hard questions as the questions, instead of being logical end up being flooded with multiple data. I wonder if most of the questions are anywhere near to the GMAT quant questions. I felt extreme disappointment for the reason indicated above and expect the fine members at egmat to revise the scholaranium as this is way below the standards we expect of the course provider like egmat.
