Hi, does anyone know the current prep companies that offer score improvement guarantees?
Searching through the forum I found Magoosh and eGMAT were good candidates. But I got confused by eGMAT. It sounds like the score improvement guarantee only applies to the live prep course, yet I don't see the live prep in the pricing options. The only options are GMAT online and Verbal online. Does anyone know the specifics of eGMAT?
On Magoosh, does anyone know how approximately many hours of videos you need to watch to qualify for the score guarantee? Also is it required to do AWA and IR prep?
Looking to improve my verbal from a 37 into the 40s and keep my same quant score. Was hoping to supplement my prep with a online course to help. Open to other options too!

Most do but with various conditions so you have to read them. Some require you to send your official score reports ahead of purchase, so READ and research. Exonomist, EMPOWERGmat and Veritas Prep, Kaplan, and others likely too.
I think EMPOWER offers the best and most straightforward guarantee but it’s been a few years since I looked.

To start, a 710/Q49 is an outstanding Score, so you can comfortably apply to any Business Schools that interest you. As such, a retest is probably not necessary. Depending on the Schools that you plan to apply to, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

There's certainly no harm in retesting though and if you're interested in Verbal-specific materials, then you might find the EMPOWERgmat Verbal Score Booster to be beneficial. That having been said, if you approach this next phase of your studies with the mindset that you just have to 'watch videos'... and then your Score will automatically improve.... then that's not particularly realistic. To earn a much higher Score, you will have to train to 'see' (and respond to) the GMAT in new ways - so if you're simply going to approach the Verbal section in the same ways as before, then you'll likely end up with the same general score result.

2) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
3) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
