Rumadi
Hi,
I have been preparing for the GMAT consistently for about 2 months now, studying for atleast 3-4 hours a day.
I have improved on my RC and confident about it, I practice atleast 2 passages daily.
With CR - I easily do the easy ones, but medium and hard Qs I am only less than 50% successful.
SC - I am comfortable, I get most of them right.
With Quants, I am good in Geometry but Arithmetic and Algebra are giving a tough time.
I have practiced quite a number of questions but still I do not have the confidence with Quants.
I am planning on giving my GMAT by the end of July and I have approximately 20 -25 days left.
I will be giving atleast 3 mocks during this time.
My target score is 720 and I have not given any mocks recently, to give an estimate of my diagnostic score.
But how can I build my confidence in CR and Quants with this time left ?
Hi Rumadi.
That's a very broad question! One big thing to do, when reviewing a question you struggle with, is to identify, as much as you can, why you struggled with it. Was it a rule or a formula you didn't know? Did you struggle to understand what the paragraph meant? Did you overlook a detail? Did you not use a certain strategy? There are many reasons why a GMAT problem gets missed, you have to figure out what yours are!
When it comes to CR and quant guidance, take a look at the links in my signature, the 'getting started on quant/verbal starter kit' links. These lay out a large number of free videos that cover a myriad of topics for the GMAT. You'll definitely find some useful stuff there.
