Clearly, we can estimate the answer (no need to deal with decimals since answer choices are far apart).

Take 30% of 260: 3 * 26 = 78
Take 60% of 510: 6 * 51 = 306
Sum the results: 306 + 78 = 384

So, 384 - 103 = 281. This is close to 280 --> answer is (B).
