Hey rohan2345,

I agree. Many thanks for the referral as well! I think ApplicantLab's style is rather interesting, will definitely check it out! Definitely can't afford a face-to-face admissions consultant, so the online ones are the best options  All the best for your applications!

Hi. Congrats for scoring 690.

MIM Insead certainly has lower gmat score requirement than MBA. I think 690 is really sufficient for MIM. Don't cancel it, even if you want to retake.

Hey chondro48,

Thanks for the advice. I agree that 690 is rather sufficient for most MiM courses as the general profile is a lot younger as well - I guess it's the fact that the MiM program is relatively new and publicly-available information is rather scarce out there. I kept my score eventually, phew! I'm glad I didn't make the wrong choice.

Hi umamitsunami,

Just to clarify - when you click on the link for your Enhanced Score Report, do you receive all of the standard information for the Quant and Verbal sections? If you have access to your full ESR right now, then I'll be happy to review that data for you - and we then discuss how best to proceed with this next phase of your studies.

Hey EMPOWERgmatRichC,

I've tried to activate the ESR, but I do not see anything with an "Enter Code" button on the page. The status of my attempt are "Score Reportable" and "View official score", and my score card has been sent to the relevant school as well. I've just reached out to GMAC customer care via email. Hope they reply soon.

Hi umamitsunami,

690 is a very nice score my friend. However, since you are planning to retake to score higher, there is no harm in canceling the 690. After all, you can always reinstate the score if you end up needing to use it.

Meanwhile, given what you said about your preparation before you took the test, it seems likely that, with more thorough preparation, ideally preparation that involves learning concepts before answering practice questions and working topic by topic to achieve mastery, you could score significantly higher than 690 within a reasonable period of time.

Also, when you dive back into your prep, after your vacation, feel free to reach back out, and I’d be happy to help.

Good luck!

ScottTargetTestPrep,

Thank you. I decided to keep my score after speaking to some admissions consultants, and they believe that the applicant profile is more important for where I'm applying to. However, I will still definitely re-take the GMAT. I'll definitely work on verbal while on vacation (even brought writing pads with me). I just received my official score card, have yet to be able to use the ESR link yet. I'll tag you when it's available, if you're interested :)

Sounds good to me!
