ISB, in the name of diversity has accepted few of my friends - BCom, MCom with 600 on GMAT for the sake of diversity. Sorry for the rant, but I hate how this has been built to hurt us engineers in software, specially males.
As a former IT/Male/Engineer, I connect with your sentiments.
Without being diplomatic, I'll admit that I see a lot of less-than-stellar non-IT folks getting into top schools across the world (not just in India) and beating stronger IT candidates.
And every time I think, 'Not fair!'
But unfortunately that's how the international MBA admissions game works.

Haha, yea I know. Unfortunately, it's a harsh truth for all of us. Nothing we can do.
Well done on the GMAT, Priyansh. And good luck with the journey ahead.
Will you take up Darden if it comes through with the new score? Or try for better opportunities in R1?
