Hi there,
Scholarship opportunities still exist in Round 2, though it's likely that even more exist in Round 1 when the biggest pool of funds is available. But I would just avoid the Spring / Round 3, there is typically not much funding left, and admissions chances are a lot harder then too.
Writing high-quality essays, preparing all the required materials, and arranging your recommendations does take quite a bit of time. It depends a lot on how many schools you're planning on. I think a few schools (2-3) is possible in a month, but more than that, you're likely to see a drop in quality. Also depends a lot on how quickly/efficiently you work, how organized you are, how much research you've already done on your target schools and career goals, and how strong of a writer you are. If you have concerns about any of these areas, then your application may be stronger if you wait.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

Hi i am an Indian female with 760 in GMAT 50q and 44 verbal. I have already done am mba from one of the top 5 b schools in India in 2010. Specialisation marketing. I have a work ex of about 5.5 years with one of the top global energy firm. Wanted to know what are the scholarship opportunities in round versus round 1 like?
Also I have a month at best to write my essays and submit my applications to meet round 2 deadlines. Is that enough time? Or should I look at spring and fall 2018 instead?
I am looking at Insead lbs Haas Columbia and the likes.
My reason to do the MBA is to gain international exposure and work experience. And mainly to change my industry to fashion/art/retailing.
Cheers
