I'm happy to respond.

Not very challenging--basically, this question is asking whether we know how to divide decimals.

$$b = \frac{0.35}{0.20}a = \frac{3.5}{2}a = 1.75a$$

OA = (D)

Does all this make sense?

0.35a = 0.2b
or b = 0.35a/0.2 = 1.75a

(A) 0.07a
(B) 0.57a
(C) 0.7a

(E) 17.5a

We are given that 0.35a = 0.2b. To isolate b, we can multiply both sides by 5.

5(0.35a) = 5(0.2b)

1.75a = b

(A) 0.07a
(B) 0.57a
(C) 0.7a

Given: 0.35a = 0.2b
Multiply both sides by 10 to get : 3.5a = 2b
Divide both sides by 2 to get : 1.75a = b

Cheers,
Brent
