This is the first time I am hearing you mention GMAT Pill!

Throughout the past 1-2 months, during your interactions with me and other GMATClub members such as GMATLA, you did not mention GMATPill - remember that you had given me detailed debriefs on your preps every week...:)

And, a couple of days after your GMAT and after the first debrief, you write another one extolling the virtues of GMATPill!

I'm perplexed - what's going on??

Congratulations again! Any tips on remaining calm of exam day? Did you do anything differently right before the exam?

And I'll just say it: I'm sketched out by the reviews featuring GMATPill esp this one because you don't mention them in your previous thread. I mean I hope this whole thing is legit because it'd be a great step for humanity and what not. No offense, of course.

Hi Santanu76,

Santanu76, you are Guru ,wat else i can say.. I was not serious about using GMAT pill, but i was crazy to listen to their video every day.Believe,no secrets. Its was not so intentional to hide this from you,but i was just not taking GMAT pill seriously, but when i wrote the exam i realized that really helped me.

Sorry for not mentioning it in past.... :( i should have not done that...:(

Hi FatRiverPuff,

As i told to Santanu,i was not expecting those video to impact my exam so much, cos even after preparing so much for RC,i was not able to read Passages fast and get correct answers. But in the exam when i saw a big paragraph almost in the end of verbal,i really used their way of approaching RC and got answers real quick. So mentioned that in this.

Sorry for not mentioning in my previous threads...:(

It's not about who is the guru - you are completely missing the point.

I have had this experience earlier as well -some specific vendors (not mentioning names:)) out here have the habit of trying to pile on someone else's success and try to gain publicity out of it.

I find it very very difficult to believe you had never mentioned GMATPill in our 1-2 months of interaction and also, not even once in your first debrief.

And, suddenly, you mention them 4 times, not once or twice, in an updated debrief!

Extremely fishy - am sorry to say.

Anyways - good luck.

Vaishnavi,
Hiding a part of your preparation is not a crime, writing a misleading debrief -on which future aspirants will rely -definitely is.

Good for the GMAT Pill that 1) you did not take it seriously during your prep 2) you did not recognize its great contribution to your success a) after the test b) while writing your previous debriefs, but pulled it off after a week.

What also intrigues me is even when you did recognize it as a contributing factor, why write an entire debrief dedicated to it; you could have just made an edit to your prev. debrief.

Hate to say this but things don't fall into place - you remind me of one Mr. Fong.
Anyways, good luck for your applications. :)

Hi dreamchase,

Its cos many had asked for more detailed debrief and i didnt want to edit it further i wrote a new one. Moreover i didnt pull GMAT pill all of a sudden. After seeing that 700 i was on cloud,i just gave a outline in which i wrote max on my preparation of GMAT.As a week left and settled with all application and stuff this also struck,if i wanted to hide or mislead i would have not told this on debrief itself.I can just mention GMAT is as easy as experts think, after getting almost double high i think every one can do and mislead people easily, but that was not my point.People who understand this can please post else i am sorry to say this don't comment saying i am sorry to say blah blah....

Whether you used GMATpill, MGMAT, or you were hit by a moving truck that helped you regain your powers is immaterial if you pulled this off in ONE month. It's not a crime. I don't see why you should feel sorry.

360 to 700 is not a joke; to me, that is commendable!

What you could have mentioned what, how did you overcome the "anxiety"? How much time did you spend on Verbal/Quant in one month - 60:40%? What did you do apart from what you had already done? such details will be helpful.

Good luck!

You have no right to tell dreamchase (vailad) or anyone else whether they want to post a comment or not. He, I or anyone else will post what we believe - whether you like it or not!

Your action is very very fishy - and I am NOT sorry to say this.

There are moderators here (including me), and we ban debriefs and debrief writers who, we believe, are writing false debriefs.

It's a warning to you. Please be careful.

Hi Santanu76,

I am not writing false debrief,if i wanted to,then why would i mention this again...i am trying to explain that it didnt struck the first time and it was not a detailed debrief.I wrote again cos many asked me to write....I already said i agree that is my fault...then if everyone keeps telling on same thing i too get sad.I have not mislead or thought to hide some thing from everyone here.

lol....this is the funniest debrief ever. I was so confused because I thought I was seeing two 360-700 score jumps in ONE DAY. I mean, what are the chances?

Well, congratulations to you! :-D Next time you want to add in something, consider editing the original post than writing a new one - first it looks confusing to the readers, and second it just looks really fishy given what was added.

Vaishali ji, you may be genuine. 300 to 700 is too much of a jump.

Somehow it reminds me of another guy who had similar results in one month. Interestingly, the guy was able to finish the GMAT is 28 minutes! Great, isn't it? How can anyone of this earth complete GMAT exam in 28 minutes and get 680.
