If we get 6 on the first roll then we have 5 possibilities [5,4,3,2,1] for the second roll.
Similarly if we get 5 on the first roll then we have 4 possibilities for the second roll.
Total probability = (1/6)*(5/6)+(1/6)*(4/6)+(1/6)*(3/6)+(1/6)*(2/6)+(1/6)*(1/6) = 5/12

total possible combinations= 6*6=36

combinations in which both rolls are equal= 6 [(1,1), (2,2)........, (6,6)]

In the remaining rolls (36-6=30), Half of the cases have first roll higher than second one, and Half of the cases have second roll higher than first one.

Number of cases in which second roll will be higher than that in the first roll= 30/2=15

Probability= 15/36= 5/12
