Currently, i am getting around 100%in 500 level and 75%-85% accuracy in 600 level questions
should I focus on solving more 700 level questions
or revise Og and other books like manhattan and veritas

You must focus on 700 level questions but keep in mind to determine the reasons for not getting 100% accuracy on 600 level questions.

Every question is important on GMAT as it determines the flow of your algorithm.

Remember, if you get a 600 level question wrong, you are loosing that question + the next question that could have been of level 700 had you did the previous one correct.

So, I would suggest get 100% correct on 600 and improve on 700 level.

Always remember, you should focus on Quality than Quanitity.

If you do 1000 questions and your accuracy is still the same, there is no worth of doing those 1000 questions.

And if you do 100 questions and you are improving/learning from your mistakes, it will reward you with an Awesome GMAT score.

So, determine the root cause of your low accuracy, focus on those and improve yourself.

How many 700 level questions do i need to get correct in order to score a 700+ or get a high percentile(like a Q50 or a V36) in a section

Currently my accuracy is around 60%-70% when it comes to Quant 700 level questions
and for verbal it is around 40%-50%

Hi vinay589,

Many Test Takers become overly focused on the 'implied level' of the questions that they're answering instead of the bigger issues - namely WHY they're getting questions wrong. To consistently score at the 700+ level, you'll clearly need to make some adjustments to how yo currently handle the GMAT. Before we can talk about how best to do that, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What materials have you used?
3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?

Goals:
4) What is your goal score?
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

I know about that link but that doesn't say level of questions he faced
also getting 10 questions back to back correct is a tough job

level of question increases with every correct answer that you give ..

any ways if you feel that is not helping, i can give you my Gmatclub test data ...
I took around 15-17 quant test on gmatclub and on an average I got around 7-8 sub-600 level question 8-10 600-700 level questions and 17-20 700+ level questions ..
My accuracy was 100+ in 600 level, 85-100% in 600-700 level and 60-70% in 700+ and my average scores were 47 to 50 (50 only once)...

Also, I read somewhere on this forum that to get Q51 you can only afford 2-3 question wrong (not considering the dummy questions)
to get Q50 approx 5 wrongs
and Q49 approx 5-10 wrongs can do ...

Hope this helps.

The scaled score from a GMATPrep test is probably your best bet when it comes to estimating performance. As an adaptive test, the GMAT is not all about accuracy.
