Hello there, I am an international applicant from India applying to the top 100 ranked bschools in the US (US News Rankings). I have close to 5 years of work experience, the majority of it being in managerial roles responsible for driving revenue (sales, marketing, product launch) in the EdTech industry.
With the aim of an MBA, I look to gain knowledge of businesses across different industries, network with peers, and business leaders. Post MBA I want to stay gain work experience in the US preferably in the consulting or tech industry in a strategic or a product marketing manager role. Once I get my first opportunity, I am to prove my value within the organization and growth further.
So far I have received admits from the following colleges:
1. Kogod, American University (Washington DC) - STEM MBA offering 80% scholarship [Rank 87, Deadline - 15th April]
2. SUNY Buffalo (NY) [Rank 77, Deadline - 15th March]
3. Howard University (Washington DC) - offering 50% scholarship [Rank 64, Deadline - 15th April]
4. Saunders RIT (Rochester, NY) - STEM MBA offering 15% scholarship [Rank 99,Deadline - 15th May]
It will be really helpful if you can share your thoughts and preferences on these colleges. As an international application, a STEM MBA gives me great confidence in gaining a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the US.
Meanwhile, my applications are still in process with the below-mentioned colleges (all STEM MBA):
1. Weatherhead (Cleveland, Ohio) - Interview this week [Rank 81]
2. William & Mary (Virginia) - waiting for an update [Rank 71]
3. George Washington University (Washington DC) - waiting for an update [Rank 53]
I am the first in my family to pursue higher education (and formal education) so any inputs, suggestions, constructive criticism is welcomed
Thank you!
