Need help on deciding,,,
I have admits from university of oklahoma price college of business and Universtiy of alberta...
I intend to focus on energy mba....Kindly advise...
Which one is gud, with ur rationale,,,

These schools are in two different countries. Have you checked the Career Centers to see how difficult it will be to obtain post-MBA employment in the energy field, especially if you are a foreign national?

Congratulations on your admits. Just to be honest, both are below average schools. Before we provide which school should you go, tell more about your profile so that we can see if you can get into any other top schools. If you don’t have time to apply to any other school, and have to decide between the above two, I would choose University of Alberta as it is better ranked than Oklahoma.Moreover, Alberta is more close to energy resources.It beats Oklahoma in almost all aspects such as international exposure, global recognition, salary packages, scholarships offered. Good luck.

I looked at your LinkedIn profile. All I could see is your company and education information. Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India is an excellent school. If you had a substantially higher GMAT score, you might be able to consider more competitive programs.

I just looked at the left grid on your profile and see that you had raised your score all the way from a 410, so congratulations. Have you followed up with the career centers at each of the schools you are considering?

Thanks for your comments...
I have contacted and scene in Oil and gas future in Oklahoma is better than that at Alberta.
Moreover I think the program at Oklahoma is being overlooked. They have great international connections ranging from Stern to LSE and IFP in france.....

So Yes job for international is difficult bu ti feel its more depending on personal calibre.

Lets see I am yet receive scholarship details from Oklahoma...Once received I will than weigh both and make decisions.

One more thing Oklahoma MBA in last three years has climbed 37 ranks in US NEWS
