All of the students in a certain class took a test consisting of 20 questions. Did at least two students have the same number of correct answers on the test?
(1) Each student answered an even number of questions correctly.
(2) There are more than 11 students in the class.

Statement 1 provides that the possible number of correct answers ranges from [2;20], inclusive. Since we do not directly know how many students there are in the class, there might either be repetition(s) in number of correct answers (N>=11 or N<11, where two or more numbers are registered twice for a set) or there might be none (N strictly has to be <11 and repetitions should not occur). Therefore, we cannot state for sure whether the same number of correct answers will be observed or not. NOT SUFFICIENT.
Statement 2 adjusts for what has been mentioned above: now we possess N=11 on hand, yet, as there is no additional information available, we similarly cannot argue that the same number of correct answers will be the case (both even and odd number of correct answers are acceptable). Analogically, NOT SUFFICIENT.
Combining both statements together automatically suggests that there should be some even number of correct answers, which will be registered for at least two students, thus allowing us to answer the initial question. SUFFICIENT.

Just to add a slight correction to Yuridias, zero is also even. So the students should be more than 11 and not equal to 11.
