Ohk, so the WL handler will tell me what to write (give me the essay topic) and also the the deadline, along with whom to send it to?
And does such an essay have to be sent every time there is a significant update (but not too frequently)?

So... I just got done with my waitlist appointment and my WL manager said I can submit updates and an additional letter of recommendation. But said there’s no specific area which needed improvement. How should I interpret it?
1. My application is being seriously considered and I don’t need much help
2. My application is near the bottom of preferences and nothing will help
