I was reviewing the questions I missed on my last CAT and I noticed that I got some of them right the second time around. I hadn't checked the answers prior and my process was very fluid, with almost no hesitation. Is this more of an issue with deeper understanding or just a mental "zone" issue so to speak? Id like to put my self in a better position for the next CAT. For example, I was thinking of solving some simple warm ups Q's to get my brain processing. Any thoughts are appreciated
I'd say force yourself to get excited. Get up and do a few jumping jacks to get your heart rate up. Also - imagine as if you were about to sit in for the real exam. Think about what environment you will be in. Visualize that experience.
Treat this practice CAT as if it were real thing - and you will be that much more prepared psychologically and mentally.
