Many folks are asking about Canadian B-schools, so I want to put this out there generically - Canadian schools are quite competitive for Indian candidates, so take into mind they are typically looking for 700+ from Indian candidates, even if their average GMAT is 680 or minimum is 650.

I would consider a specialized masters degree or a masters in management if you do not have a business degree. If you want to send over your resume, I can see if you have experience that will appeal to MBA programs for an "exception to the norm" for admitting less experienced candidates.

executive program are part time and i cant do that while working here in india, so best option is do full time 1 yr.

So what options are my best bets, considering without scholarship i cant afford higher education.

If you are looking for Full-time - Stanford MSx is an option as well as MIT or LBS Sloan Fellows.

have you lead any projects? worked on team? international exposure? how many projects have you completed? have you decreased amount of time to complete a process? increased customer satisfaction? outside of work, are you involved in clubs/activities/volunteering?

Thanks for responding. Well, I did my undergrad in management and have relevant work ex working as a sales associate for a lil over 2 years now

Sounds like a good foundation for your profile. Breaking 700 will be imperative for Top 15.

No - tech MBA’s are different than MSX and Sloan Fellows. MSx and SF are prestigious leadership and c-suite or founder driven programs. Tech MBAs are laser focused on MBA curriculum tailored to the tech industry, can be for early to mid-career.

They certainly can. If this year has taught us anything, it is that Adcoms need to hear a compelling reason as to why you need an MBA this year. If you have a strong profile - academics/work experience/teamwork AND an urgency to be a part of what is happening/changing in business or the world, the school won’t matter as much.

Any promotions? have you worked across the business with other departments to have a fair understanding of marketing, finance, supply chain as it applies to your business and can share relatable stories/situations in class with peers that have 2-5 years more work experience than you? Can you contribute on their level? That is what it will take to apply with 2 years of experience to a top MBA.

You can reach out to 1 year full-time MBA programs like USC, Duke, Cornell or Emory in the US to see if your profile would be a good fit for their program. Alternatively, RSM is a great school for seasoned candidates in EU.

Hello,

For ISB Hyderabad admissions, for PGP program, if suppose the deadline for Round 1 applications is 15 Sep, then how long before we can submit the GMAT score? Is there a specific number of days before which we should submit?
