Hi QuestioningMeaning,

I would neither recommend you to cancel the test nor take a new date in November already.
If am not wrong, you could do take a date in November at a time later also.
You should take a date whenever you feel ready for the test.

Just start your preparation and prepare as per plan. During this period, whenever you
feel ready, book the earliest available slot(in November) and take the test.

You could cancel the test(up to 7 days before the date of your test)
and you can still get the 70$ refund.

It is a good thing that you have taken a Kaplan test already, but I recommend you
to take another test(this time from GMATPrep) about a month into your preparation
to gauge your level at that time and get back to the experts on the forum to help
you with a understanding of what you should do.

Try and utilize the forum in the best possible way with your preparation!

Hope that helps you!
