Aarya20
Hello everyone, would love to know your thoughts on this;
How does not applying to early rounds (r1, r2) affect the chances of getting accepted into MIM programs at top european b-school?
Best,
A
Aarya20 applying in the late rounds can make things difficult because the school would have already received plenty of applications from folks with similar background as you in R1 and R2. So unless you have certain aspects in your profile that set you apart from the rest, you may not stand a chance applying in the late rounds. Irrespective of whether or not you are a strong applicant, it is a good idea to explain why you applied late because you do not want the school to think that its program was not your 1st choice or you are not genuinely interested. It is completely acceptable to mention legit reasons for late application such as preparing for a competitive GMAT/GRE score, professional engagement such as a new job or personal reasons.
Best wishes
