Hello everyone, would love to know your thoughts on this;

How does not applying to early rounds (r1, r2) affect the chances of getting accepted into MIM programs at top european b-school?

Best,
A

Hi Aarya20,

It is always better to apply in earlier rounds. One cannot quantify the extent to which it makes an impact but if you are someone who belongs to an over-represented pool of applicants, you will have competition from a lot of applicants who apply early. The number of seats for you will come down in subsequent rounds and that will have an impact on the acceptance rate.

Hope this clarifies.

Good luck!

Thank you ExpertsGlobal and MBAGuide for replying, appreciate it! I've been thinking the same, I do have a reason to not apply in early rounds to INSEADs MIM 23 intake, I'm planning to go abroad for study abroad program and that leaves me with R3 and the subsequent rounds. I'll remember to state the reasons for the same.
