Upasana219. There are 3 different profiles here, so I’ll give a quick answer for each. The 22 year old female: you are very very young and probably don’t have enough work experience. You look like you could have an interesting application, but with more experience under your belt. At this stage, they are likely to think you won’t have enough to contribute to the classroom. 28 year old male: For you, it is going to be about how you stand out in a crowded field, which will be a lot about the quality of your work experience and how much of a difference you have made. The gap will also need to be carefully explained. YOu’re probably targeting the right range of schools. Try to raise your GMAT score if you an and try to get really good work experience. In terms of explaining a difficult situation, that’s what the optional essay is form. Rohitith348: Stern essay questions - think really hard about what will best represent you. You can choose pictures of anything, but first identify what you think is important for the school to know about you - personality, interests, passions, what you care about. Then find pictures that convey those things.

Not sure of your age and total work experience. If it will only be 2 years at matriculation, that would put you on the young side for most schools. Your GMAT is solid for the schools you are targeting and I like the variety of extracurriculars. (although it’s not clear if you are still involved - that would be important). I think your biggest challenge may be age.
