Hi,
Hi @SanyaKullar-- sorry to have missed this profile request earlier-- happy to weigh in now with comments below in blue!
It'll be great if you could review my profile and suggest on programs with high chances.

Overview
After completing my under graduation, I was sure about pursuing a fulfilling career but did not know which direction to head. Going with the theme of my subjects, I started working with a Big 4- safe option but not satisfying despite the awards and accolades. Also, I did not want to pursue an ACCA or CPA, so I decided to venture into business.

In my next role of a Business Development Manager, I established the infrastructure development vertical and gained exposure to managerial responsibilities and expertise in sales strategy and developing partnerships.

Due to a family matter, I decided to move back to support my ailing grandparents. To cover for the gap in my professional portfolio, I interned with my current organisation, Pahal (NGO) for six months and fell in love with my job. It's been two years since, and I am sure that a career in the development sector is my way forward!

MBA Specialistion/Subjects/Interests- General Management/Public Policy/ Government/Social Impact

Immediate post MBA goal- Program management at nonprofit organsations

You also may want to consider MBA programs where they are trying to increase the number of women in the class and for that UNC Kenan-Flagler, Anderson, Tepper, Georgetown and Rice come to mind. You may want to review the percentage of females in a class and look at programs where they may want to increase this metric. Any program with lower than 35-39% women likely to be making a big push to increase that percentage. % women in top MBA programs
Long term goal- Social sector consulting

Hi,
I'm interested in doing an MBA. Kindly review my profile. Sharing a snapshot of the same below.
Hi @rohitdesh893, thanks for reaching out for a profile review-- sorry to have missed this earlier but looking to answer your questions now below in blue
Bio: Indian, M, 24yo
Undergrad: Comp Sci from top 5 colleges in India(IIT) awesome!
Undergrad GPA: 5.6, It is on the lower side bur from a very prestigious college. It is helpful to be in first class. If there is some context for your more sluggish academic performance you can note that as long as you are not making excuses
GRE: 329(Q166 V163)
Current Role: Project manager
Current Sector: Finance & Investments
Work experience: Worked in a MNC for 2 years where I worked abroad a project of 3 months duration. Got a promotion from a junior level to a Cloud lead. I worked with cross functional teams in India and US heavily- going to show teamwork and adaptability.
Post this, I Moved into an equity Research firm as a Project lead. Currently working as Project lead since 5 months. I currently lead multiple projects standing as a common ground between the investments team and the tech side.
Total work experience: 36 months by the time of Joining.
Short term goals: Move into an investment firm and work on Portfolio research in the equity markets(Sell side).
Long term goals: Move into a Private equity firm/Hedge fund in the buy side.

Extras:
Worked as a volunteer for differently abled
National level chess player Both volunteer for differently abled and chess very positive
Lead departments in national level Fests.
Worked on an incognito startup(Failed)(Not sure if I should mention this)Absolutely-- show self awareness of what you learned from the experience-- perhaps this informs some of the reasons why you want an MBA!

Referees: Manager and colleagueI would avoid having a colleague as a recommender. See if you can find someone else who supervised a project or perhaps an advisor from your startup.
Target Schools (R2): Any of the top 25 in US
You are still on the younger side of work experience but I think that some of the schools in the bottom half of top 25 will be your best odds. Go ahead and pick a few reach programs in top 15 as well-- programs with strong experiential learning around investment management would be good-- Kellogg, Anderson, Ross and UNC Kenan-Flagler all have some great options here

Hi Stratus Team,

Thank you, @RonnyD - I will be happy to provide feedback.

Age: 28
Gender: Male
Nationality: Pakistani

Education: Bachelors in Business from top ranked University in Pakistan, 3.06 GPA
GMAT (Online): 700 (Q44, V41, IR7)

Your GPA is lower than average, but your GMAT is at or above average for your target schools, and I think will demonstrate that you are ready for the academic rigor required by these programs.

Work Experience: 6 years of work experience in investment planning, strategy and sales/business development at an MNC energy major. Have been responsible for guiding investment decisions with an outlay of $7 Mln USD and developing the new country strategy. Have led teams and worked (virtually) across geographical boundaries.

Your work experience seems great - especially that you have led teams and have international experience. It would be great if you can go into more detail and demonstrate and even quantify achievements on your resume and/or applications.

Extra curriculars: Parliamentary Debate and Model UN , during undergrad. Gained international exposure and leadership experience through attending conferences all over the world. Also served as President of the university's own Model UN Conference.

Community: Fundraising for a prominent NGO that works on education for the underprivileged. Also serve as a pro-bono consultant on business strategy to a local start up focused on organic waste.

Great to see these extracurriculars in college and additional community service after college. Again, are you able to demonstrate any leadership and/or point to specific achievements in this community work? That would make this even stronger.

Post MBA Goals: Transition into consultancy, preferably with in the energy space. Plan to work with diverse clients (Energy Majors, Public Utilities, Renewables and Gov/Regulators) in developed markets on energy transition before returning home to within Pakistan's growing energy landscape.

Your goals seem very reasonable.

I think overall you have a strong profile for these schools. You ultimate success will depend on how well you are able to articulate to these schools why you want an MBA now, and why each school is a good fit for you. If you would like a more in depth assessment please sign up for our free 30 minute consultation here. In any case, Happy New Year, and best of luck to you!!

Hello,
I'm aiming for the top 20 European b schools and I've a score of 720 in the Gmat exam. I've done my 10th with 64.4 percent. 12th with 64.6 percentage and undergrad with 48.6 percentage in commerce and did by masters in commerce with 57 percent. I had been into sports that's mainly cricket at school level and I've a teaching experience of 6 years at school level other than that I've learned German language (B2 level). Did other courses from mbamaths of statistics and economics as well to demonstrate my maths skill further and I've been posting blogs on economy and business for sometime now. My concerns are my age and my undergrad marks which is on the lower side when there's a vast variety of other Indian applicants who have much higher than that. I need a piece of advice that am I gonna be someone who would stand a chance in top 20 bschools from Europe? I'd really appreciate a reply back. Thanks in advance.

Hi aamna - thank you for reaching out. Although you're right that your undergrad grades are on the lower side for these schools, your GMAT is definitely in line for many of them, and it's great that you can further demonstrate your quantitative skills with your additional coursework and blogs. I think your overall chances at these schools will depend on how well you can differentiate yourself based on your work experience, whether you can demonstrate leadership and/or other achievements, and your extracurriculars (again ideally showing leadership or other achievements). Schools will also want to understand your career goals and why an MBA from that specific school is best suited to help you achieve those goals. Have you done research on which of these schools are the better fits for you? You mention your age being a concern - are you thinking you're too young or too old? I don't have a good sense from what you've written about how well you will be able to differentiate yourself on the other dimensions I listed. If you would like to dive a bit deeper, please feel free to schedule a 30 minute free consultation here. In any case, best of luck to you!

Hi pkdaddu , thanks for reaching out to Stratus. I'd be happy to help guide you towards some school choices.

You have a great background and I imagine you won't be hurting for essay content. You're getting quite close to deadlines, so I'd keep the list short for you to maximize the quality of each application.

A good reach school for you with your GMAT score could be Rotman, or Tuck, they have solid paths to MBB. Target could be Darden or McCombs. And Safety could be back to CMU or Emory.

Not sure if you'll be able to get in touch with anyone before deadlines, but if you want to reach out for a free consult, I or anyone on our Stratus team would be glad to explain more about the steps you should be taking to get to your best applications.
