Hi ISB Team,

Thanks you for this great initiative.

Can you please throw more light on campus life? How different is the life in Hyderabad and Mohali campus in terms of students activities and exposure.I read that there are 28 clubs in ISB. What is the current number and if you can categorise them for example social clubs, professional clubs, sports clubs etc.

Also, if you can give details about the events like consilium, Advaita, BCG strategy cup etc.

Thanks.

Dear ISBOfficial.

Thank you for this initiative to help out the aspirants.

I request you to advise me on the couple of application process related matters that I've mentioned below.

Firstly, I wanted to know whether my last year's application will be reviewed while evaluating my this year's application. Basically, I'm in the process of writing my essays for the current admission cycle, so I'm unsure whether it is advised to borrow content from the essays of the application I submitted previously.

Secondly, will I be at a disadvantage if I reach out to the same referee who recommended my candidature last year to recommend me this year as well. Also, will I be at a disadvantage to seek recommendation from a referee under whose supervision I worked for the first 6 months of my career back in 2015.

Thank you.

In order to get a glimpse of the campus life please view the "ISB Life on Campus" video in the ISB channel in Youtube.

In terms of Mohali and Hyderabad, there is no difference between student experience in either of the campuses as we are one school with two campuses. Hyderabad is an older campus with more students and Mohali is a newer campus.

Currently ISB has 14 professional and 10 Social clubs. You also have events like the ISB Sports League (ISL) that are a mix of sports and business. All the club activities in ISB are student-driven.

Like any global business school ISB also participates in global business school competitions, Advaita is ISB's premier International Management festival. You can find more information about it at advaita.isb.edu. ISB also conducts a plethora of other events like ISB Leadership Summit, various conferences etc.

The previous year's application is not referred to in the current year. If you want to borrow some aspects of your previous essay you may do it.

We have no problems if you reach out to the same evaluator for your recommendation this year or even to your first manager.

In your case, 6 months in 2015 is a long time back you may want to choose someone more recent though nothing prevents you from asking this person to give you a recommendation.

Once you join the programme, you will be appraised of all the clubs and activities by the Student Engagement & Applied Learning (SEAL) department.

Round 2 has more seats available in round 3 lesser seats are available. In terms of scholarships, you have same categories of scholarships available across both the rounds.

Please apply whenever you feel you will be able to submit your best application even if it is Round 3.
