This is my second AWA issue topic. Please review and provide me with a score.

Governments must ensure that their major cities receive the financial support they need in order to thrive.
Every country’s economic and social status depends on development and the performance by its major cities. While the contribution of small towns and villages in the economic development is no less, the major focus would be on the bigger cities as the number of residents are high in cities, job opportunities is better; better lifestyle than small villages and towns. Therefore, I truly agree with the author’s point of view on providing financial assistance to the major cities.
In India, Bangalore, also called as the Silicon City, is one of the major city in India. Decades ago, many people migrated to the city in search of better jobs and homes. Now, this city is also known as the IT hub of the country with a population of over 1.3 million. In the recent times, it has been difficult for the individuals to travel from their homes to work place due to the lack of public transport facilities. Moreover, increasing traffic and decreasing air quality has put the individuals to unrest. It is almost priority that needs to be taken by the government to provide the individuals with fair public transport facilities, and take necessary actions to improve the poor air quality by providing the financial assistance.

Unless you are not leaving under the rock, we must be aware of the deadly disease Coronovirus(COVID-19) that which has taken the entire world by storm. Over more than 180 countries have been victim of this disease. World’s strongest economic country USA has nearly recorded cases 1 lakh. Moreover, New York which has the population over a million has the highest number of causality affected by the pandemic. While, there has been no sign of reduction in the number of individuals been at risk, Trump government is trying its best to cope up with the situation. However, in such situation, while masks and sanitizers at significantly lower price, government should also provide additional functional support for adhere further medical expenses, essential services- food, fuel station, cold storage, groceries, and limited public transport which can been achieved though the support by the government.

Like USA, other developed European countries- Italy, Spain are frightened. Infact, in the recent interview made by the Prime Minister of Spain, he said “They are lost their control to virus. It’s difficult for them to have a control of the deaths”. This statement came in after Spain recorded deaths over 5000, while Italy was nearly close to 1000. Recent development shows how USA surpassed Spain and Italy hard-hitting the record to over 1 lakh. While USA is well equipped with the advance Medicine, PM of Spain blames the lack in funding by the government in the major cities that have widely been impacted and delay in taking up the desperate measures. Hence it is important for the government to have financial assistance to the major cities as they would have higher population and in the situation of chaos, major cities will be first impacted.
In conclusion, I totally agree with the author point of view of ensuring financial assistance to the major cities, while not ignoring the smaller villages and towns, as the population is higher in major cities and it will be difficult to control the situation in the state of crisis.
