For those of you preparing for your interview, come up with anecdotes where you modeled each of the Haas values, confidence without attitude, etc. This will show fit and resonate with the interviewer on both an analytical and emotional level.

I keep hearing about applicants receiving this email saying "Your application is ready for review". Could anyone share what this email looks like? I received a couple of emails after applying but none with those words.

I haven't recieved it either! I'm starting to panic! It says in the email they review applications first by region. What does that mean?

Yeah, I am a little bit too. I am in Canada and I would think that US/Canada would fall under the same "region"?

Been about 10 days since I got the email that my application is ready for review....when should I start feeling worried? It seems like some US-based applications already got interview invites.

This is what I got from sending emails asking interview progress:

Thank you for messaging us here at Haas. Please try to lay your worries to rest. Interview invitations continue to be sent via email, on a rolling basis, in random order, as the files are reviewed. The interview invitations will continue until the decision deadline(March 14th).

Hope this helps, btw, the adcom even misspelled my name in the letter, based on this, I guess my chance is low o(╥﹏╥)o

I just got the interview invite today, and received the email that my application was ready for review on 1/14. So it was 2 weeks in between, and also I wouldn’t read too much into it, it’s hard to spot a pattern

I haven't received the confirmation yet, does anyone know what it looks like?

This is what I received:

Thank you for submitting your application for admission to the Berkeley MBA Program at the Haas School of Business. Your file is now complete and ready for review by the admissions committee. You may check your application status online at ....

(The rest of the email was about official document requirements that they might need if offered admission)

Hope it helps!

From Mexico.

Received an email on 12Jan asking for a diploma translation. On 16Jan, after submitting the document, received an email confirming my documents were complete.

No news after that.

Best of luck bro!

Same here. I'm from Latin America. They asked for a translated version of my diploma. I sent the document and they got back confirming that my documents were complete. No news after that.

Received my invite last night via email. I'm sure this has already been discussed somewhere so if anyone could point me in the right direction that'd be appreciated - but thoughts on on- versus off-campus with Haas? Thanks!

I'm doing on-campus! That being said, I'm in SF, so it was a no brainer :) But every student and alumni I talked to said that interviewing on campus was a major factor in their decision to attend Haas, so I'm looking forward to it. If it is too much of a hassle for you, then I'd say off-campus is fine, they're not going to hold it against you, but seems like a good opportunity to see the school. I'm also doing by other interviews on-campus because of that.

I’m from Vietnam and haven’t received the ready for review email yet. Not sure if we do need that email before getting an interview invitation.

BacLe I am not sure, but SarahSF mentioned that they received an interview invite without ever receiving the "Ready to Review" email.
