I went on a couple of "Coffee Chats" with current Haas students, you can find students in your area through Haas website ( https://mba.haas.berkeley.edu/admission ... ing-events ) Haas students I contacted were extremely responsive and only couple of them haven't replied, but do keep in mind they are on holidays now and not all of them check their inbox. Just keep emailing as many people as you can

Any news on interview invites for R2 applicants?

It looks like they've begun. Nothing for me, but the decision tracker lists one from today and ClearAdmit lists two (one of which could be a duplicate).
