Hi everyone, wanted to ask you guys a question. I graduated in 2021 and have 2 years of work experience but I want to apply for the Fall 2025 Intake of the INSEAD MiM. Am I eligible? I know I wouldn’t be considered a super recent graduate but should I try anyway?

Hello Guys, I have a situtation here and would like to ask your opinion. I just got admited INSEAD in the R2 and today received a 50% tuition waiver (~40k euros) from another school that I was applying and was admited (SDA Bocconi). Is there any chance I can negotiatiate a waiver with INSEAD? fyi I’m a company-sponsered student, but having the waiver could allow me to explore new companies after the MBA without hanving a huge debt.

You could wait for a year and try your luck in MBA rather than spending a huge sum for MiM and then later on spend more on an MBA in another 2 years after your MIM

Well there’s many reasons why I want to pursue higher education right now rather than wait:
1. I come from a non-business background and I’d like to make my base strong first.
2. An MiM would help me get the role, the exposure and the connections I want.
3. I feel stuck in my career and want to move elsewhere.

Hey! While your reasons are genuine, you will have to be creative in highlighting them to adcom in your essays and interviews. :) Point no.2 is pretty good and that’s what you should expand on to highlight how MiM will help you get that role and why it can’t be a natural transition (without MiM) to your desired role. Placement statistics are becoming more important than ever for B-Schools, so they do focus on whether an aspirant will easily get the desired transition.
