Any updates on R2 invite anybody who applied near R2 deadline got invite?
I applied on the deadline. No news so far. I heard from experts that for those who applied near the deadline, invitations should start arriving only ~10-5 days to the interview notification’s deadline (aka 24th of may, so news by 15th-20th). For the ones to be declined, it seems that the general rule is

to be notified on the last day (24th May)

Don’t think this is true. I applied in R1 and got my interview invite on the last day
You are aware they invite on a rolling basis, right? They start 10 days before the deadline and it lasts up to the deadline. From previous years, late applications are (generally) the last ones to be reviewed as well

Last year INSEAD sent this update through email only. In that you have to decide to accept the waitlist spot or to reject it and be out of the running for admit. However, do note that waitlist >>> rejection. It means you are very very close and some factors not even in your control may be affecting the result such as someone else with similar profile already selected/diversity of other kind. Best Strat is to keep improving in areas where you can especially in the short term, the most impactful of which would be increasing GRE/GMAT scores.

So waitlist is only AFTER the interviews and Adcom review, right? There is no concept of waitlist before the interview selection decision, is that right? So its either a straight yes or no post initial application submission for ’Interview calls’?

Yes I think if you didn’t get the interview invite. It’s most likely a ding.

Ghislain, only Wed and Thursday is a public holiday? So perhaps we will hear on Friday (it does seem they do send quite a few results on that day anyways).

Based on previous comments, now I understand that even if you are invited to interviews and your interviews went well, you still can be rejected. The result is somehow unpredictable
