I don’t think you should draw conclusions on the basis of results last year. The situation was completely different- all the deferrals on account of covid greatly reduced the number of seats available and this hit the international applicants the most since a large chunk of deferrals was granted to international students who couldn’t fly over to the US in the class of 2022. Hence, lower number of seats were available for the class of 2023 coupled with an increase in overall application volume.

Is it confirmed that the interview decision will be released tomorrow? I have heard no news.

I doubt they will send invites on a Saturday. If it has to start it probably starts from Monday 17th *Monday 18th

I don’t know if I’m overthinking, but the text that used to say "Your application is currently under review" at the top of my applicant portal is gone now. I think something’s about to happen.
