You have option to apply for fee waiver in the application form " Chicago booth and You" section. Submit the form and you should get an update in a few days. Better to submit the form sooner.

Has anyone been able to order the sequence of jobs/positions in the employment history by date? I've tried adding them multiple times, but the sequence always messes up so my first job shows in the wrong order compared to the other ones. Is this something I should email an ad-com member about, or just leave as is?

My sequence is messed up too. Nothing to worry about I guess. They'll be able to see the date range, should be self-explanatory.

No you don't. Only if you have uploaded the official report which will show the "C" in all the lines. Otherwise it is impossible for them to know.

What if the school asks for the official report on admission? It will show you lied/ hid information. It is better to include cancelled attempts whn puting down a number

Booth anyways only take the highest score into account so not reporting the true number f attempts cn only hurt

To clarify you dont have to include exact scores from cancelled attempts but better to write you gave GMAT 3 times even if you are submitting only one or two scores

Why would they ask you the STUDENT report? GMAC sends a different version for the schools (and asks which schools you want to send) for this reason. Otherwise, your logic defeats the entire purpose of being able to cancel a score and not disclosing that event altogether

What if its part of the background check process that happens?
You are obviously free to not report cancelled attempts when reporting number of GMAT attempts if you think that safe or right. Personally, I wouldn’t take the chance. If admitted, all it would take is the school asking for the official GMAT reprt as part of backgound chek or whatever other reason for anyone to be in trouble at that stage.

If a school is asking applicants to report number of GMAT attempts, then the school is well within its rights to confirm if you have reported the correct number. Whether the school will actually check that number after offer of admission has been given is another matter. BUT they can check if they want to and if they do then the offer of admission could even b rescinded for hiding/ misrepresenting information because you said you gave t GMAT twice instead of 4 times. Upto every individual if they want to take this chance.

You chose to cancel the score. Technically, you still received the score.

The canceled score was a valid score because we decide to cancel it does not make it invalid only makes it a cancelled score

just realised the lat message should have better punctuation to make it a clearer read. Hopefully its still clear what I was trying to say

for the people who already submitted your Booth app, within the checklist that you see when you submit, does your GMAT score report show an "X"? I didn’t submit an official score report so it makes sense but just curious to know whether everyone sees the same thing and whether it’s okay..

Hi folks, sorry if this has already been answered, but what is the ideal length for both essays that you guys are sticking to ? I currently have ~350 for professional and ~450 for personal essays, want to know the general consensus as well :)

I paid the application fees and got the application fees waived the next day... Seems unlikely... But will I get the application fees refunded?
