I am a product manager and I got waitlisted everywhere I applied (HBS, Booth, Kellogg). I am wondering if it is just me or the Adcoms have been harsh on non-FAANG product/tech folks (Especially from an over-represented country such as India)

Same boat. Waitlisted at Booth, Kellogg, Darden, Ross, Tepper. Only recd. an admit from UCLA

Hello. Sorry to hear about the WL. I don’t think they intentionally are being harsh on non-FAANG students. Being part of the slack of both Harvard and Booth clubs- I do see most admits from non FAANG back ground tbh. Try to reach out to schools and share updates- write the essay well- that is my plan for Kellogg WL. Show interest in Booth values and community- Booth values intrinsic behavior more than achievements.
