Just got an interview invite! 4:20PM CT. Sorry I'm new to this - am I supposed to post my stats too? Also they are giving 3 options to interview - on-campus with a Booth 2nd year, off-campus with a Booth alumnus, and virtual with either the Admissions Fellows or alumni. They say it makes no difference but I live in Chicago, would it reflect poorly if I chose a virtual option? I feel like interviewing with the Admissions Fellows offers the best chance?

Yes I applied in R2, I got an email that there was an update to my application status and to log into my portal, where the invite was waiting. I applied for the 2 year FT program.

They were supposed to release interview sometime in Feb ( 1st week). I guess it’s good sign
Let’s hope for interview.

Are the interview invites on a rolling basis or are they all sent out at one go? I see many got a Booth interview invite on livewire

Yes, same I also observed, but the people who have got interviews have GMAT around 680-710; I don't know if it makes any sense.

From what I recall, all R1 interview invites were released on the same day

The invites came out over a four day period in R1. They started Tuesday and invites went out each day (in the afternoon CT) through Friday. On Friday, they also did some rejections in the portal.

Don’t give up hope yet! There’s still 3 days on interview invites if they follow R1.

Is it so that a candidate from a particular background like finance get preferred over other domain for Booth?

Imo finance is probably a minor disadvantage (I"m finance), as it’s the most common background and all adcoms try to make a diverse student body. An unique background (like say sports management) would stand out more versus something more conventional like investment banking
