Has anyone successfully asked for feedback from CBS. I understand they say they don't give feedback, but was wondering if anyone was successful via any method (ie. calling, emailing, etc). I'm asking because I got rejected after what I thought was a good interview, but am considering reapplying next year.

sorry to hear that... I am still waiting to hear back the CBS's final decision.
One of my buddies tried and was not successful to get any feedback from CBS.

Do you mind share when your interview feedback report was submitted? And when did you get the final decision?

In any case, I wish you the best of luck next year and definitely apply ED.

Hello!

Anyone who applied after 6th Jan heard back yet?

I noticed some 6th Jan decisions went out earlier this week...just wondering if they are through with the volume of apps that must have come in before that deadline!

Really regretting not applying earlier :( ...any stats on how many people roughly get invites after the merit deadline?

Thank youuu!

Just curious, anyone on the older end of the spectrum applying/getting interviews? 29, 30, and beyond?

I asked for mine and was told that CBS does not provide any feedback to the applicants. I do not think they will change this stance of theirs for any particular applicant.

Received another call today from "No Caller ID"... Not the call I was hopping for.

Post interview feedback submission, 11 days and counting ... I am getting nervous.

Oh well... Received an email from CBS literally a min after my post...

Waitlisted. Oh well, better than dinged...

Looking back, I should have applied ED 100%...

Good luck and stay positive, guys.

Pretty much, man... CBS is my dream school.
Based on the historical admission rate from the wait list, I think it offers some closure. Honestly, I think I have a better chance reapply J-term in a few months than trying to get admitted from Waitlist.
But hey, such is life... gotta take the beating and move forward.
I wish y'all the best of luck.

I mean this in a very positive way -- I would say for about half of the people I know who got into top 15 schools, which is a decent number, getting into a great school is a two year deal. The nest admission cycle rolls around in the blink of an eye and there is a ton you can do to strengthen your candidacy between now and then. First and foremost, figure out who the presidents of the clubs that align with your interests and goals are and hit them up on LinkedIn. 80% + of them will meet with you. Reference talking points in your essays!

If accepted, how long does CBS give to make the deposit, and how much? Is it also two weeks as it is with early decision?

It's longer than the 2-weeks for ED deposit. I got in on 1/6 and deposit is due 2/19. Not sure how that shifts at this stage of the game but im sure its a similar time frame.

Hi there, thx for the advice. I reviewed my application again. I think there are areas that I can improve in the next few months. And I am gonna do those things and send them the updates and hope for the best. I think I still have a shot for class 2018.
